"The song is about being violently assaulted and it made me crazy for a few years. I got really paranoid walking around at night and started feeling really unsafe."

Not everyone acts, looks or ages into a stereotypical "32 year old woman". Some people always stay looking (and thinking!) pretty fresh, having a cool style, fresh outlooks and youthful energy. You don't have to be defined by your age (like anything else), and you'll probably find as you get older that you may never truly feel like the age you're "supposed" to be.
