Say anything you like about Robert Schuller! I was a very poor gardener in Southern California. His Wonderful Messages connected me with God. I'm 76 years old and living safely in our home paid in full for over 15 years. Totally enjoying my retirement. I share The Good News of God any time the door is open. Thank You Dr Schuler I know your looking down from Paradise Right now. Job Very Well Done!!

This is a perfect reflection of a biblical story. Ever since man had to till the soil for food for his family, hard decisions have to be made. Schuller Sr might have had to turn to China for financing, Schuller Jr eventually did just that, on a missionary jaunt of course. He didn’t get the Cathedral back, but so far, he’s insured his and his son’s ministry. Bad can come from goodness, and good can come from bad. Life is difficult no matter how u look at it...

steve w He had to talk about finances because that's a huge part of running a church. You need money to help others as well as keep the church going. He's talking about keeping the church going financially so that many many ppl can still hear the messages about God all over the world. This is probably a small snippet of the interview or this is what the interview was about. The people interviewing him probably just wanted to know what was happening to Crystal Cathedral financially. If you want to hear about Jesus you can view Bobby Schuller on the KZbin Channel Hour of Power with Bobby Schuller. Peace be with you.

The Schullers had a grande vision , carried thru with intention and perseverance unmatched by most evangelists , however greed and the “power of money” fogged their intentions creating a monster of revenue desperate to sustain a weak message leading to deception and disillusionment among members after “ robbing” their devout patronages at the end destroying all faith as a result of Schuller greed and deceit … Shame does not fully describe the end result of their undermining efforts and success in literal robbing the churches faithful members … I outta know … I was a pianist and organist in brief at some point in time. The “weak” ministry both Dad’s and Son’s was always evident , deceiving the mass for the greed of money and not the fulfillment of the HOLY SPIRITS HIGHEST GOOD AND PURPOSE … I’m not one to throw stone in a glass house , but the Ministry threw the membership “under the bus” with the evil power of the Ego and greed for selfishness giving the heart the church away for the sake of money in their pockets … SHAME … This ministry was doomed from it’s beginnings giving “Hollywood” it’s egotistical attention only to “entertain” and not ministry the Spirit of Jesus … Jesus is so much more than what this ministry professed according to my Grand Grandfather and Southern Baptist Minister’s opinion … He saw thru this ministry from it’s roots … When I played for their ministry … he was not pleased , however realizing “ my ministry” was and is “ my God~Given Gifts at the keyboard … That alone gave me “ permission” to minister thru the Schullers temporarily until I discovered a “Spirit~Filled Church that drew me away from this “disguise” of a Christian Ministry … There … I’ve said my say and feel “relieved” and “delivered” from my past mistakes yet with no regrets … Beau Saucier 💜🙏💜😇💜

Their church brought happiness and joy to people. They bought those 34 acres and built the cathedral and other buildings, gardens, statues on the land for people to enjoy. Don't you think that cost them a big chunk of money? Don't you think that they had to pay for upkeep and the bills? Are you under the impression that God just gave all those things to him for free? Wow.
@Chesterbarnes14 жыл бұрын
@@linlab7635 The issue is not whether the church brought happiness to people I concede they might have to some, yes and the property did in fact cost to acquire, the issue is not the upkeep of buildings that's a given, nor paying bills. The REAL issue is GREED and AVARICE. Obviously you are not informed as to how many of the Schueller family were on the payroll, plus the exorbitant salaries they were receiving. They were all wonderful people but they became BIG HEADED, and proud. Pride comes before a fall. And the Ministry did in fact fall. God did not give them those HUGE salaries, they gave themselves those huge salaries and eventually couldn't pay the bills, and this Lin Lab jeapordize the ministry.

@@Chesterbarnes1 really Lin Lab. Did you really just make the case for a church to operate like a capitalistic business? Your supposition will not very well for the Body of Christ (church). Simply because churches are endorsed by God as places he calls his children to for the purpose of accepting salvation. Once they become a part of the World (commercialism, making money), they goal then is profit. At that point only Satan will send he false flock to help make sure the church dies. Once it is dead as a potential influence, even he will then leave it behind as a crest of empty buildings and broke family members.

Actually, a sermon isn't meant to be "entertainment" or "educational." .... A sermon is meant to entice a person to look in the mirror and repent of any character flaws they find in themselves. And to change their ways to God's standards as a result.
