Sir, We can also guess whether the ligand is weak field or strong field based on their electronegativity property. If it has high electronegativity then donating electron is poor,As the donating is poor it's weak field ligand. Then vice versa .! Is this is applicable? Also we can find the Colour based on the magnetic properties itself na . We know that if presence unpaired electrons the complex will be coloured. And vice versa ?
