【Jerome | COMPLETE Smoke 72h MAP】

Fun challenge: take a shot every time jerome is said
This map is about Smoke's tragic story. It is never shown, only told, not even from her perspective, so there's no details nor any exploration for how badly Onewhisker mistreated her, so this map showcases just that! Smoke's story is a story of a vengeful mother, used and then abandoned by the one she loved, who set out to take revenge for what she was put through, her only surviving son by her side, just as bitter as her, ready to bring justice to his mother and him.
After just a little over 2 weeks of production, Jerome is finally completed and I couldn't be happier with the result!!! This map was an absolute BLAST to host, don't remember having this much fun and passion in a map for a very long time! Thank you to everyone who helped me bring this stunning project to life and give Smoke some more love :) Hopefully I'll be hosting more fun 72 hour maps in the near future!
The thumbnail was made by the wonderful jjubaz! It was so hard to pick a winner, but in the end I chose this one since I believe it got the palette incredibly well and also had a wonderful composition that captured the map's overall theme spot on! Please go support them!

Onestar said that Darktail was born in the forest so we can't know for sure if it was before or after Whitetail. I think he was mates with Whitetail after Smoke though. If I remember correctly, Heathertail was born in the lake while Smoke was a cat he met in the forest when he was Onewhisker. Unless it took Whitetail and Onestar a long time to decide to have a kit then there's a great possibility that Smoke was his first mate.

AAAA EVERYONE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB! Seriously tho the final product is amazing Also, can we take a moment to appreciate the purpose of this MAP? Smoke definitely deserved her own super edition or something, her story deserved to be told from her perspective. I honestly don’t know why Onestar thought it made sense to fall in love with Smoke only to deny their kits love. Out of all the vengeful mamas in Warriors, Smoke is one of if not the best.

If anything, I bet Onestar twisted the story to make Smoke look like the villain. In reality, I bet that Onewhisker was the villain, I mean, he didn't even take Darktail in as a kit, when his clan needed more warriors.

I just fall in love with the song and the story of Smoke, her story is so sad, but I think she Can be in the top of the best mother in Warriors cats ! She take care of Darkkit 'til her Death. I respect this character like a lot of other character I like.. she have my respect just to have been a good Mother. 😔✋ Unlike OneStar who just left his mate and son.. I already think that OneStar was a Bad character because of his Friend relation with Firestar but, this give me a worst opinion about him.

OMG! This is just as amazing as I thought it would be. Already watched it millions of times! The artwork and animations are incredible, and that awesome colour palette worked out as great as I thought it would. We`ve needed more Smoke MAPs, and you just fixed all our problems in a few days. Personally, I don’t think Onestar was this cruel, he was obviously very regretful of his decision, and he was still empathetic towards Storm. Haha I could write a whole essay but I still enjoyed this very much!

Me too, I don't hate or love him but he's an interesting character to me because I always wondered what his pov would be like and I really want to see his leader ceremony since that's when his personality changed. From what he has said and done we know that he's very insecure, perhaps ashamed of his mistakes and worried about what others think of him and his clan but also bad at handling his problems and taking responsibility (Except for when he had to face his son). It's understandable for people who haven't read the books to hate him though especially when artist add their own ideas to the stories (like smoke teaching her son battle moves and her death) and they think that it's canon.
