6:25 Small correction, Steve Duckworth did not write any music for A Hero's Tail. He was part of Eurocom's sound team but was never listed as a composer. The actual soundtrack credits are Paul Lawler, Keith Leary, David Marsden and Craig Sharmat. I believe Frostbite Village's track in particular was made by Keith Leary.

@@CrystalFissure No worries, it's a very common misconception for some reason. I think even Wikipedia credited Steve Duckworth at some point.

@@EbbeAHT yep, and also some soundtracks on KZbin credit him as the guy. Should definitely work on getting that changed. There are a couple sites too that list him. I think even Google does when you look it up.

I honestly love A Hero's Tale; truthfully speaking I like to think of it as the real sequel to the original trilogy, even if that was that not their intention. The music and whimsy of the game was still present, and I think that along with being a part of my childhood is why I enjoy it so much :)

How very creative to put enemies, challenges and newer aspects in the game. The setting is very festive to Christmas with the textures of the lights in different colours, the snow covering the terrain and the whole castle of Autumn Plains, the newer geometry, like planks of wood, behind the back of a small castle and the upper places have been added to the game with the fire wood to be burnt by Spyro's flame breath.

Given that GhostieSFM has also made the Gloomy Glacier mod for Crash 4: IAT, it's pretty easy to conclude that persons favorite world in A Hero's Tail is indeed Frostbite Village! 😉❄ I've got be admit you did a great job on finding all of the candy canes and am pleased to hear that you found my guide helpful when it comes to locating them! I struggled the first time finding the one hiding around the back of the Shady Oasis tower, very sneaky indeed...? I still need to update mine to the later version, as by the looks of things, it fixes the HUD/counter glitches found on v1.0 if you were to die or do the campfire challenge later in the level (the one I downloaded and used). Overall, this was a very impressive, informative and detailed video, Andrew! I'm diggin' this!!!! 😍

Tbh I'd love to see a remake of the original trilogy that added extra playable area and missions for every level in the game. I love Autumn Plains so much. I play Spyro 2 at least twice a year just to go there to see the relaxing scenery and listen to the relaxing melody, so to see it with added content, a decked out in a Christmas theme, and to have the level expanded into the sky was amazing! My childhood is smiling so bright right now!

"we were taking spyro levels and kind of, wrecking them" Cyreides accidentally makes a prequel to skirograff I have to give context for that to make any sense, but. if you saw another comment I made, I have this 'original' project tentatively called skirograff [pronounced "skyro-graph"] - youtube/ watch?v=UTymrdQv8Aw&lc=UgwXxBWCGAQLaK0ufZ14AaABAg the concept goes back to this one time I was bored and depressed and so I jokingly wrote a "jingle" for skylanders in which I tried to make it sound good. then much later I decided to remake the song to introduce an 'original' premise it has different versions based on different "homeworlds", but in general there are references to an event where reality was torn apart: "They rose and fell and rose - into the highs and mids and lows [= landforms] - to meld the realm together from the fated blows" The meta joke behind the song/lore is just that copyright 'destroyed' the spyro world or ripped it away from 'average people', however within the lore what's shown is just that there was _some kind of_ world of dragons and then the entire thing was torn apart, with the new inhabitants (Graffs) speculating on how that might have happened but maybe never really knowing. and a little anxiously trying to prepare in case it happens again some day (but, they _are_ reasonably prepared because they built the new realms)

sorry to have answered now, This Christmas mod is beautiful, it's so well done, it would have been great if the developers would have made small events, but for those who have pc, the modes have always been there to be fun. ^-^ ❄❄❄⛄☃️⛄❄ What bothers me is that there have been no dlcs, and still no response for Spyro 4, I want to see a new sequel for our purple dragon.
