Love this idea, I think the one thing I'm curious to see though is levels that have actual threats to Spyro (enemies and falling to death). These levels being beginner levels makes it easier to focus on one at a time but once you have to be careful in both games it should be much more interesting.

I think you just invented a new speedrun category. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 lend themselves nicely to this I think.

Tuco repeats the line "Hey Spyro, maybe I can help you recover those five dragon eggs." To hear this line of dialogue spoken by him in the Reignited Trilogy or in text form for the PS1 version... you must releatedly talk to him without 5 dragon eggs in your possession.

@CrystalFissure, if the player hasn't recovered the eggs from the level Wizard Peak and they talk to Tuco the balloonist... he will advise Spyro to go look in that level for dragon eggs. As that level houses two. But, instead of transporting you there, he tells you it's nearby. Makes sense.

Double the Spyro, double the fissure gameplay, what more could you ask for? Awesome video man. It'd be cool to see you do other games like this. Crash 2 / Crash 3, Monsters Inc / Toy Story 2, to name but a few suggestions. :)

It certainly frustrates me. Elements of it I do like, such as the actual environments. But the gameplay is annoying. I think Mind Over Mutant improves it a bit. What don't you like about it, Meta?

Tuco the balloonist quote to Spyro about traveling to the next world: "Hop aboard for the Beast Makers world if you are ready." Text: "Are you ready to go?" In the Reignited Trilogy Tuco says instead for his line: "Would you like to go?"

@CrystalFissure, whenever you enter a boss realm it says 'confronting' instead of 'entering'. When you enter this level on the loading screen it reads "Confronting Blowhard."

It's interesting to me that in the Reignited Trilogy of Blowhard, the skill point for this level isn't perfecting the boss fight... rather it's riding a druid platform.

CrystalFissure I felt like putting it out there that Blowhard is one of only two remaining six bosses in Spyro The Dragon who never has his name verbalized out loud. In fact, Blowhard also has the criteria for being the only boss whose dragon found within the realm doesn't provide any hints on how to defeat him.

@@CrystalFissure Oh definitely better. At first I thought u had 2 keyboards; I was saying to myself if this guy is ambidextrous then this is gonna be one hell of a video lol. But one controller for two games simultaneously can work I guess, the only downfall we see is the fact is u go one way in one game meanwhile in the other u hit things. If I did this it would be perpetual deaths 🤣 I can multitask in my daily life but not this way lol. But anyway, great video dude; these two are my favorite games. I have been playing them since I was a kid with my older brother; the swim in the air glitch was our all time favorite. The other glitches I found on my own as an adult and showed him; he was shocked. Especially with the hidden unfinished boss battle in Year Of The Dragon, Dino mines.

This is such a cool idea. Just imagine the possibilities you can do with this, not only with Spyro games but other games that are not related to each other. Please make a series of this :D edit: I tried to play two games that are not related to each other (Spyro 1 and Bug's Life) and it's much more difficult than I thought. Platforming sections are extremely hard if you try to play both because as soon as you look away, you mess up. So games like Crash Bandicoot would be pretty much impossible. But other games that are more generous could work

ePSXe has always been a trash emulator, so yeah, DuckStation is leagues better.

Thank you for the support! The ONLY reason I still use ePSXe now is because it's the only emulator to properly support SpyroEdit and some other Spyro hacking tools. If they could work on DuckStation, that would be great but there are no plans to. But for general emulation, DuckStation is indeed leagues better. Streets ahead.

Love this idea! Were you playing both on one uniform controller or did you have two? Cuz I noticed that whenever you did something on one game the other would do the same thing.
