So, I'm just sitting here googling old concepts I used to know when I had freshly graduated from MATE 11 years ago (Mostly to make sure I didn't screw them up while I write some code) and whadda ya know, Dr. V's ready to teach me all of this over again.

Just a quick question, if i extended the Y axis to -1 and drove the plane i got that way through the cube, the plane i would get would be the same wouldnt it? Is it just coincidence or can you do it that way too?

dear madam; I am very happy that you explained it very good. but i am somewhat weak, since I am not able to derive the family members of planes or directions... so will you please suggest me which video will help me to understand and develop my knowledge.

in the negative one, cant we simply shift origin to Y as you told before making it positive, and then from Y we go back ?

the (111) cube at 5:09 is WRONG! It should be similar to the one (211) right after.

Good video, except for the (1;-1;1) plane part. The picture for it is not the correct one and you instead did a tutorial on how to draw the ( -1 1 -1). Which you did mention but never really distinguished between the two planes. They are not the same.
@hafsabel58437 жыл бұрын
Renzo Andre hi ! You seem to be quite sure of that ...so I'd like to ask you ...is it right to say that the two planes -1 1-1 and 1-11 belong to the same family ? And she seems to say that they are equivalent so am a bit confused ...would you explain please ?! Thank you
@imnotgonnamakeanyvid7 жыл бұрын
They are the same plane but in reference to different origins the signs change.
@renzoandre52867 жыл бұрын
I see, a picture of the inverse (1-11) would've been appreciated though to show the different orientation, despite being on same plane.
