Will it charge 2 x 12v batteries in series or parallel, please?
@CTEKBatteryChargers3 жыл бұрын
Hi. The CS FREE will charge 12V batteries, so connected in Parallel is fine, as long as the size of the two batteries connected together does not oversize 130Ah ( max 2x65Ah). Batteries connected in series will increase the voltage so it will be a 24V system and that is out of the scope for the CS FREE. Best regards CTEK Support

How big of a car battery is the CS FREE able to charge from flat to full ?
@CTEKBatteryChargers3 жыл бұрын
Hi, When using the CS FREE as a "common charger" with power into the charger it is recommended for batteries up to 130Ah. If there is no power into the charger, just using the internal battery within the CS FREE to charge, it will get a 130Ah flat battery to start, but not to fully charge, to do so you need to recharge the CS FREE probably 3-4 times. I hope this makes sense. Best regards CTEK Support

@@CTEKBatteryChargers Thank you, I understand it fully, I was trying to search the information but couldnt find it. Would be great to have an example, e.g. CS FREE is capable of recharging 20% of a 100Ah battery from CS's internal battery. Cars are usually capable of starting up with 10% charge which can be delivered by CS FREE with new boost technology within 15 minutes and usually takes around 45% of charge from CS FREE, to fully recharge you car battery you will have to use CS FREE approximately 3-5 times since its internal capacity is xxAh. ---- just a suggestion, since the product is fairly technical I would have appreciated more technical information... Thank you very much for your answer.

@@matejdo Hi. Thank you for a good idea. Unfortunately it is very hard to give any guidelines, as there is so many variables. Size of battery, Age of the battery, amount of ECUs in vehicle, temperature. If we should say ...30%.. or 3-5 times, and it would be something else for a customer, than we spreading false information. I will however send your idea further to the product manager to see what we can do to improve. Best regards CTEK Support

@@CTEKBatteryChargers following question: I have a motorcycle residing in a Garage with No Power Sockets in winter. So I would have to use CS free with No Power into it. How often would I have to Plug it to the motorcycle to keep its battery from dying or at least on a sufficient level until spring time? E.g. would it be enough to recharge every two weeks?
@CTEKBatteryChargers2 жыл бұрын
@@aueret Hi, the CS FREE works perfectly when you don't have a power outlet but you need to charge. How long the charge lasts in the motorbike is hard to say, that depends on the battery state of health and of how many consumers that are active when the bike is parked. To fully charge the battery every two weeks will most likely work fine. Best regards CTEK Support

Pitty is only can charge 8 Hour, it should be 12 hour charging.
@CTEKBatteryChargers Жыл бұрын
The LEDs on the charger will show you how long it is left until the battery is fully charged. The CS FREE can charge for however long you leave it on if it is connected to a power outlet, and until it runs out of power if it is being used portably.
