CS:GO Editing Tutorials #76 - Rainbow Glow (Frogling Effect)

In this tutorial I show you how to create a "rainbow glow" effect in After Effects, an effect that I get asked about nearly everyday, so here's a video about it. You'll need the Sapphire and Deep Glow plugins for this.

**Alternative for Vegas**
It may be possible with Vegas, however some of the effects aren't available for it. So the process would be pretty much the same, masking in Vegas isn't as easy as rotoscoping and it's very time consuming. Instead of using Find Edges, you'll need to use S_EdgeDetect. For Turbulent Displace, the closest effect would be S_WarpBubble and S_Glow instead of Deep Glow. You'll need to play around with the settings for all of those to get it to look right but my suggestion is to just use After Effects, the result will look better and is way easier.

Nice tutorial! Alternatively if you use HLAE in csgo you can record only the player model+gun and have it as a seperate footage. IDK what method is faster though but this is good if you don't have the demo.

If you have a big X on the clip, that means your plugin isn't registered

You need Sapphire, for the Deep Glow, you can just use the stock glow effect that comes with After Effects

It's just called Glow. You need Sapphire for this, there isn't an alternative

If you can't afford to buy the programs or plugins, using cracks are fine, I'm pretty sure the majority of editors do that anyway. Most people can't afford them.

Holt ALT on your keyboard and select the area, the plugin to search is called FX Console

The search bar is a plugin called FX Console, link in the description. S_CloudsPsyko is part of Sapphire plugins, it should come with it, so I'm not sure why you don't have it
