I executed the same CS:GO trick on a Silver rank and then on the Global Elite rank..
In today's video I tried out the very same plays on the lowest possible rank in CS:GO's matchmaking and then at the best rank of the game to see the difference. See the results from the video..

probably the most used 1 way after window and con, but they are standard one ways, this one is, not used all the time because its quite situational, not many teams try to sneak a ramp, its mostly a split or an execute or both

I dont think there's much difference between a S1 and GE the first time you use a one-way. If the opponent doesn't know it's a one way its pretty much impossible to react to it. The biggest difference between the ranks will be the way they anticipate to it once they know it's a oneway.

This is correct. You'll not see a Global die to the same one way twice in a row.

@@44r0n-9Gimmicky plays become useless at higher level, good players adapt, it doesn't even have to be the same one way, 'oh they like to use one ways' is the only context good players need to start being careful and prefiring any strange smoke they see.

i think it's an interesting video , would like to see more of these experiments. If i have an advice , in lower ranks , don't think too much and don't try complicated smart plays because the opponents are so unpredictable that you might trick yourself by trying 'smart plays'

I feel like this is partially true, while you're partially overestimating yourself. I know silver MM is fucked up in some regions like AUS, where silvers are arguably as good as MG in other regions but hardstuck. Bottom line is though, regardless of all this, you are NOT as good as you think, get better and you will climb, regardless of how fucked MM is.

There's a nicer one way smoke to throw from the same position as 6:01 if you look at the top right corner of the rightmost box and right click it. You can get a pretty great one way to ramp and can play around it for short as well.

That's actually a genius idea, for some reason in my region in NA silvers are often times very experienced players or at the very least good shots, whenever I play EU it's extremely easy, occasionally run into an experienced player but it's much more rare

as sb who is silver but plays with globals often in mm my experience is the following. globals shoot a bit better but are so stuck on the meta that the stupider you plays the better your results. i can usually hang in there pretty well. not because of the skill but because of the stupidity
