While I was listening about the benefits of silence, something happened to me. All throughout I was asking for forgiveness with a promise to maintain silence, God rewarded me by directly addressing Him and then I realized I was being open with God. I smiled and thanked God for opening my eyes to this fact that we can stay silent with our thoughts with ones around us but truth to God is always rewarding. Thanks to this words of wisdom.

I agree with Chioma the basic reality is we speak too much out loud. Think the story of Joseph is a better example of how he works all things to the Good. You cannot say definitively that they would not have ended up in Egypt if he had kept it to himself. What we know is that that action is what precipitated the story what we don’t know is what other action could have. Perhaps in that situation he needed to say those things and was inspired by God. However, in my life experience way too often I’m creating negative situations by speaking rather than delaying or being silent. Rest assured the Lord does help me work all things to the good how, much better with our lives if we didn’t make it so challenging.
