In Book 3, Part 1, titled "The Three Parts of Morality," of C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity," Lewis outlines his understanding of morality as comprising three distinct but interconnected components: fair play and harmony between individuals, the harmonizing of the individual's inner life, and the purpose of human life as a whole, or what we are made for. Lewis makes a connection to human morals and a "fleet" of ships. Do you think this has connections to modern times?
