Yes, he is fantastic. I heard him perform this piece live with the Iris Orchestra in Memphis, TN. The strings made efforts to keep up with him and that was after performing the Strauss Horn Concerto #2.

For some reason, people are confused why this gets downvotes. Well, I'll tell you why. His high B's are flat. Plain and simple. It's enough to turn people off. I certainly enjoyed the performance though!

Ruske had a reputation for making “offensive, vulgar, and sexually charged statements to students,” which women found offensive, the lawsuit contended. Its possible, its also possible that he may be extravagant and students are overly sensitive..who knows

Fairly large body of allegations, enough so that it makes me uncomfortable with the amount of quality and reputable professionals who are willing to put their good name on his back. It is INCREDIBLY apparent that he has a screw loose, even absent of any prior knowledge of allegations. I don’t know how he still has a career.
