I don't have this Bible but I do have the CSB large print personal size as well as the CSB thinline, and I sort of agree with what you say about the font. The larger that font gets (and in the large print it's 11.5), the more they have to condense the line spacing and it's just tough to read. Meaning that it's harder on the eyes because they have eliminated some of the white space and stacked the words on top of each other. The letters look crowded. Whereas on my thin line, the font is 9 but it's easier to read. This is all down to how they type set the layout. I think they need to have a better approach than what they're currently doing.

i'm inspired by these videos -- i did an unboxing video on Charnock books yesterday but in no way is it as masterfully produced as this professional's video. Great videos keep them coming. GOD Bless

Just received mine yesterday. Your review is a very accurate representation of what I got. Cover IS spongy. Paper is descent, but not Jongbloed-level. The red-under-gold art gilt on mine was really good. I wish there were only 2 ribbons and i wish they weren't as wide ...this is a THINLINE. Speaking of: very lightweight and portable! Ghosting is minimal. I wish the print was maybe a bit bolder/fatter...think Cambridge KJV text only large print which is a 10-point that reads like a 12. Your reviews are always great, but this one is extra great.

Mine was either much worse than the one you reviewed or you were being pretty generous. Besides the cover issue, the paper was weird. Hard to describe. I actually loved the layout/design.

Mine just arrived. I find the cover to be subjectively better than the CSB Study Bible and CSB Verse-by-Verse Bible. The paper feels cheap, however, compared to the other two. The perimeter gilding around the inside cover is shoddy and worn through out of the box. My ribbons have been cut consistently and are the same length. Printed in China.

I took one look at the font and sent the Bible back. I didn't like it at all. Now I have a better understanding of reasons why I didn't like the font.

I love my „CSB Everyday Study Bible”. I just miss Cross-references. Without it’s not really a study bible.

Wow, that is a very cool edition. CSB has been my translation of choice besides my growing likeability for the Cambridge ESV
