My cerebellar tonsils basically hug my medulla equally on both sides when looking at my MRI from an axial view. It's VERY crowded there. The tonsils extend around the brain stem as much as they physically can. My herniation is 11mm as well. I feel like the compression on the vagus nerve, in my case, contributes to most of my symptoms! I also suffer from mental health issues in addition to all of this, so this really intrigues me. I'm in WA...wish I could fly there and be a part of any future studies!

I would like to see some talks about idiopathic intracranial hypertension in depth from the leading experts in the field, like this.

Many changes seemed to have happen in a year because I did not have any of this with this NS, my post op was terrible.
