At 7.00, you said that the exponentials cancel each other. That's not the right argument. It may mislead someone that the algebra of the exponential of operators follow the usual exponential algebra of nunbers. The general relation is e^A.e^B=e^(A+B).e^[A,B]/2, where A and B are operators and [A,B] is their commutator. In this case, the operators being p and -p, their commutator vanishes and the answer is simply e^(p+-p)=I, the unit operator. At 24.05 you used the quantization rule for two rigid walls. Its wrong. The potential has no rigid walls.

Very nice and elaborate explanation. I hope that someone reads I..... I solved the rotation of the spin state problem using the spin rotation operator exp((-i/h)*(h/2)*60*sigma x), where h is the reduced Planck constant, and got the same answer, 3/4. Basically, the operation is same. But some are of the opinion that the answer should be 1/4 as in question it is stated that the particle is in eigenstate of sigma z so the factor of 2 in the denominator of the above formula will not be there.
