Sir, proton jaise one of the most stable particle ka neutron me decay hona sahi nahi lagra, vo bhi Earth atmospheric conditions me jo ki itna jyada energetic environment nahi hai, please explain

In beta plus decay, proton converts into neutron plus positron. The reaction is endothermic and happens inside a nucleus. The energy to nucleus is imparted by incoming high energy cosmic rays. Yes, a free proton can't decay into neutron outside nucleus due to mass energy violation. Proton csn also decay to pion plus positron as per GUT (Grand Unified Theory). In this theory, baryon and lepton number is not a conserved quantity.

@@Physframe yes sir it may be possible, but aapne proton ko neutron+ pion me convert Kiya h jo ki mass conservation ko violet krta h. How is this possible?
