I carry the XL voyager, which I'm pretty sure is thicker than the espadas, but I couldn't believe how easily it carried when I first got it.

Wish I bought the original Espada, with the polished bolsters. However, I bought the g10 version a few years ago, when GSM didn't own cold steel. It was cheaper than the original, and just as good, plus lighter. Easier in the pockets, too! Although the steel isn't as high end as the original, Aus 10 is awesome

I love how you can easily tell that Lynn genuinely really loves and put a lot of thought into these knives. They're not some cheap crappy cool looking products made to cash in a quick buck, he genuinely cares about how high quality they are and how well they will function for their user under all conceivable circumstances they may be used for.

Liked shared and subscribed. This knife is absolutely insane. I've used it as a machete many times and honestly it's still scary sharp. This is truly the king of folding knives. Now if we can get a Vaquero in this size...hint hint.

Two days ago I had a dream. I got attacked and tried to use my small Cold steel Pro Lite Tanto blade but couldn't manage to defend myself. There were too many assailants and when they were killing me I only thought "Many years ago, I've seen on Cold Steel channel when then put this big folding knife Espada and lifted up a car (Volvo to be exact I think) with a Crane using this tri-lock, maybe now I would survive" The blade got totally destroyed but the tri-lock still held up and kept being operational. After that I've woken up, now checking the youtube and Cold steel releasing a video about EXACTLY this knife? Seems sus. Liked, subscribed and shared. ;)

Not gonna lie, I've wanted one of these since they first came out! Just the blade/handle configuration make it an impressive piece; but, match that with the triad lock and this is an absolute masterpiece!

Cold Steel is my "Go-To" knife manufacturer. I have a number of their products. My collection began with the Boar Speer and has expanded throughout the years. A 6-inch Cold Steel Voyager folding tanto is in my pocket before I step out the door. I recommend their products whenever given the chance. The last time was with my Physical Therapist. Her husband had provided her with another company's wimpy folder. The difference was obvious. Keep up the good work!

I love my G10 Espada XL and G10 Espada L in AUS 10. I have both for more than 2 years now. Espada M XHP following soon. Please don't discontinue the XL & L G10 Espadas for the others who have none - and bring back the M Espada as well. 😉

Cold Steel makes some amazing knives, the Espada will definitely be my next purchase, it will go nicely with my Luzon xl, Counter Point xl and 4MAX scout. I don't always carry all my Cold Steel knives at the same time, but when I do, I'm happy and smiling.

I have watched a couple of "Hard Use" videos of this knife and the most impressive was the video of the Dutch bushcraft boys battonning and chopping with this beast, it was pretty impressive indeed!

I bought this and carried this when I walked home at night at my previous job. Just the sound of it opening and locking is delightful. I don't really carry it now that I have a new job and ride, and i mostly carry a Crkt m16. But it has found a happy place as my yard machete, and I've slayed many a branch with it and shrub, and its still kicking. Only ran it through some ceramic rods every so often. Very sharp and reliable lock system, as I have yet for it to fail me.

One of the best pocket swords around IMHO, just an all around awesome beast of a knife! The lock is practically indestructible, the blade is almost long enough to practically go thru a slimmer person, and it fits in most jeans pockets with that wave deploy feature that opens it as you pull it out of the pocket.

I have a Cold Steel Black Talon II that I use as a tactical folder while out and about and since it is so slim it is easy to conceal; it practically vanishes into my pocket even on tight jeans. I only had to draw it out once to fend off an attacker and the guys ran off once it came out. Eternally grateful for that. However, I have realized that I need something heftier in order to defend my apartment, in case the assailant would have a crowbar or the like. I am convinced that pulling out an Espada XL would not only make the intruder turn and run but also leave a rather smelly DNA sample for the Police as they flee. ;) Love these videos, Stick-Man. Beans You need to be your own Dude and let Lynn go. FWI Lynn's answer to every Cold Steel blade is that they all have a long edge and a acute tip. The Beans where boiling when you threw and nailed the 6" Ti-Lite zy-ex handle into the target.

I got the aus10a Espada XL, it is really good, this one and the Luzon Large I got from Cold Steel were paper cutting sharp. It carries better than my fanny pack. I wish I had the s35vn though, the handle colors make that one look longer than aus10a.

I have the Spartan knife and it's amazing. I've had it for several years now and its as sharp as day one. Incredibly strong knife. I can only imagine how this knife here would feel like in hand. Cold Steel knifes are hands down true craftsmanship.

I have a 6" Luzon, and have carried it appendix inside the waistband (as Lynn showed in a video). This thing is def on my list of must haves though. Ever since seeing it in The Expendables (the non-G10 version), I knew I needed to get one someday.

I like what Lynn talked about with having short arms. I have incredibly long arms for my size and I get a bit of the opposite problem. The xl knives get just a touch long sometimes and are harder for me to control, therefore I tend to really love the large and medium size knives for steel makes

Mine is the EDC "lockblade folder" I am allowed to have at work. I also am fortunate to have the CPM-S30VN Espada XL as well. THAT one is for "full dress" occasions. The big folders of Cold Steel always fascinated me. My first Cold Steel knife was a Vaquero Grande, as I said before, back in the end of the 1980's. The Espada XL in G10 is my grail folder, because I am a huge fan of clip point blades. It sure would slip into my EDC rotation. But I always was too late to get one of the few ones that make it to Europe. Nevertheless I will have one some day. And a Rajah II. And some more.
