Outstanding tutorial video ... very impressive!! I just learned how to make my very 1st kumi bracelet this weekend using a round disk. After watching your tutorial, I'm looking forward to purchasing a square disk from Amazon and giving this bracelet a try.

That is gorgeous! You make the most beautiful jewelry and I love your tutorials. You really inspire me. I don't have a square Kumihimo disk. Do you think it'll work using a round one using the same positions for the string?

Why do you not show how you cut the braid off to glue the findings on? I know you said its in a different video. Hm....... now I have to hunt for that video? Is it with this bracelet? I didn't find your "link" to it below. How did you keep it from raveling before you could get the piece glued on? I wanted to see you do that.

Christina, I am big fan of your video! My only problem is finding small beads (for many of your projects) that have 1mm (or close) holes. I do use anti-fray glue and corner-snip the cord end, but I can't find any 4 mm beads that have large enough holes. I've tried larger beads for this design, but they are too big. Where do you get all those 4 mm or 4 x 3mm beads with the large-enough holes? I live in the US. ALSO: You should consider Patreon. I would add you to my support list! You have taught me so much!

I love this bracelet and am working hard at it but I am having problems with the beads staying in place - I find that the very left bead doesn't want to tuck or stay tucked under the cord once I swing the left cord over to the right side. What am I doing wrong? I have started and re-started this many times and cant seem to get it right.

I have the exact same issue. I also tried it several times and even if the beads stay "in place", the bracelet is anything else but flat....

I'm sorry but I've tried this three times and my beads just tend to pop out and the cord slips underneath them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I am not sure this tutorial is going to work for every combination of beads and cord - too bad because I have been looking for a flat beaded kumihimo pattern that doesn't curl!

how did you get those beads on that heavy cord?
@CSLdesigns
@CSLdesigns 8 жыл бұрын
+Patty Estes The holes in the beads have a decent size, but I also singed the ends of the cord as it is a synthetic cord, so it kind of turns into a needle. It makes it a lot easier to thread on the beads :-)

A little bit of feedback. The plate has numbers and letters. I think it would be an easier tutorial if you use the letters and numbers to describe where you are placing the cord.

Why don't you make a list how many beads you need for this project. Its difficult to start project you don't know summary of the beads and how much about you need rope ? I don't want to know exactly the amount but something about.....i love to make your projects and they were very well done, but...
