@@lauriekrebs4522 under Trump? Obama prosecuted more whistle-blowers than all other president s combined. You can hate Trump, understandable, but you can't rewrite history and facts and act like systematic corruption started with him....that's ridiculous. The 2008 crash had nothing to do with Trump, and those frauds continued under Obama unprosecuted. And Clinton and Bush were front and center for the 2008 crash. That fraudulent bank and Wall Street behavior hasn't gone anywhere, mostly because of no prosecutions, or a slap on the wrist....along with the Monopoly game "get out of jail free card".

I was a little disappointed that the book did not go into more detail on legislative history. The Banking Act of 1933 demonstrated why controls were necessary, and the blatant, if not intentional ignorance of those lessons was central to the systemic behavior that resulted in the crisis. That said, a wonderful piece of work that should be required reading of every Business major.

In the hush of midnight's embrace, Where shadows dance and whispers trace, Lies Bethany, with pen and grace, A journalist in love's tender space. Her heart, aflutter with unspoken words, In the silence, her passion stirs, A love so deep, it blurs the lines, Between her dreams and deadline signs. By day, she chases stories untold, With courage fierce and spirit bold, Yet as the stars claim the sky, Her thoughts to one sweet subject fly. In the quiet hours, she lies awake, For love's sweet torment, her naked heart does quake, Every beat a verse, every sigh a line, In the novel of love, timelessly entwined. Her notebook brims with whispered dreams, Of moonlit walks and starlit streams, Where love's language is quietly spoken, And promises made remain unbroken. Yet in the stillness of the night, Where desires burn and take their flight, Bethany's heart, in love's sweet snare, Finds the peace that day can't spare. So in the twilight's gentle glow, Where dreams and reality ebb and flow, Bethany writes her love's confession, In the quiet night's tender possession.

Money is a god created by man.. by Cain specifically and it is a dangerous god, without love or compassion. Its not hard to imagine all the problems that come from making money center point in life. 1 Kings 11:4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. 1 Kings 11:7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. Amos 5:26 You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your gods, Which you made for yourselves. Acts 7:43 You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Images which you made to worship; And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.’ 1 Kings 10:14 The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold, 2 Chronicles 9:13 The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold, Rev 13:17-18 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. Exodus 32:30-33 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people, “You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.” Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold! Yet now, if You will forgive their sin-but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.” And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book. Mark 11:15 So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. Luke 16:14 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 2 Timothy 3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Ezekiel 18:13 If he has exacted usury Or taken increase- Shall he then live? He shall not live! If he has done any of these abominations, He shall surely die; His blood shall be upon him. Ezekiel 22:12 In you they take bribes to shed blood; you take usury and increase; you have made profit from your neighbors by extortion, and have forgotten Me,” says the Lord God. Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Isaiah 52:3 For thus says the Lord: “You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money.” kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5WZoIZpgZJ3b6M

competition between clones does not work, there have to be differances between the supplier for there to be real competition and therfore market correction. we are taught that that another identical provider wilol step in and provide the service for less. in reality customers chose not to use the service at all if they see it as overpriced. what they compeate for is market share. the reality is that prices are affected by alternatives to the methods emplyed by the existing providers.

what is needed is not the differances in importing another forign product or provider but competition between profesional organizations. ie more than one teachers union for districts to chose from. more than one medical association to set standards and methods. its only a matter of time until a forign or domestic corporation parks a big boat 10 mile out in international waters and taxi people out for heart surgery wher the law does not apply!

But although subprime mortgages were the seed for the meltdown, like most seeds, they needed a fertile and abundant pile of shit to sprout into the awesome forest they became. The securitization of this crap, the AAA ratings this crap got, that's what amplified the problem. And besides, although you can excuse most rubes for not understanding the terms of their ARMs, the people who sold them the mortgages and those who sold the derivatives all over the world knew what they were doing.
