What a fine interview! I came to this vid cuz Denis V. is filming his "Cleopatra" based on Stacy's book; it'll come in a couple of years. two things: For decades my favorite parlor game is "The dinner party from all history" and Cleo is ALWAYS my first choice as a guest. After hearing this interview, Stacy is as interesting as Cleo [well, nearly]. I'd like HER as a guest too!

She said there was no one to interview. There was Newt Gingrich. She had a chance to get the real story.

the interviewer, as always, performed. the author turned out to be a delightful surprise. I will seek her books and other interviews, although I think I have read her Franklin in Paris, if not, a more recent knockoff from her original...

Brilliant writer and genial person. The host, though competent, was rather infestive.

Seriously? They never actually discussed her book. Brian's usually better than that.

Very verbose woman!

The number of times she says “um” is maddening! If you are being interviewed or giving speeches you should be aware of your audience and your speech patterns.
