The events are just piling on one after another. Retro Revival is the next part of the 90s Rewind series. In this leg you need 5 lock ins, join in the showdown and must use the showdown price the E30 M3 as the final lock in to win the Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion. Its a lot of stuff to have ready. Good news is some of the prize car lock-ins have alternative lockins. So some older players who missed the past two legs can still get this done.

I actually like this series so far, it’s very do-able for F2P players. The 911 GT2 (993) shares S6 with the 911 GT2 RS (which is easy to get S6 for), the Roush Mustang uses Ford fusions which are plentiful, and the Showdown uses legends cars, which if you don’t have maxed you can use the free crates from lock-in 1. Oh almost forgot the E30 uses BMW fusions, which are also plentiful.

I am new to the game and I am afraid that when I fix a car in one of these events, it will be taken away from me at the end of the event or for not finishing it. Does anyone know if that can happen?

Lock in only means you must use that specific car for the event. This game does not take away cars.

Hey max, is 911 rwb purple star any good for live ? Thinking of buying it to get the bmw from showdown as i dont have any legends car upgraded

I have the 911 Gt2 stock and the 959 at around 690 points. Do you think the 959 will be fast enough?

Between the two the 959 is slower. Both will need to be well upgraded to finish an event like this. I would go with GT2 and upgrade that since it shares s6s with GT3 Rs cars.

I just won this 1400 points sd car and don't want to put $$ I won this after 302 races in sd and I have all fusion to max but no s6 can I complete this event I also have thos lock in maxed out so worries

The F1 fully elite is technically the fastest behind the prize car Porsche.

But the shift pattern of it is so horrible that I set it to S5 so that I can drive it halfway... I've often raced against the RP monster in the live races against some and I never get a time of 6,016 or 6,019 with my Max F1

I bought the bmw Evo before I won it and my idea was to be able to make forward with the event sooner and then strip one to strengthen the other. I quickly found out they won't let you strip this car. I wish NM would let you know beforehand that a car is unstrippable

You have to strip it during delivery. Its very annoying way they have it setup.

@@maxthegamerOG At the point in time that I purchased the vehicle.I wasn't sure I was going to be able to win it. Didn't have the luxury of stripping at that point of time. This is now two vehicles in my inventory that i'm not allowed to strip. I really thought I was gonna get a stage six out of it or something🤣

@matthowell8985 Sadly, prize cars often end up not being as good as the lock in cars in many events. This Porsche prize looks good by the numbers. But I am not seeing great results from it in live.

The 2006 GT Heritage Edition actually has a live race setup that is absolutely unbeatable and never get moved to a new lobby.

I have the XJ220 fully maxed and the F1 fully maxed. How important you think it is to lock in #1 use the F1 vs. XJ220? In the difficult relays at the end do you think will include lock in #1?

Final relays are always all the lockins. So first car is important and a fully maxed and elite F1 will help a lot.

It should be. Depending on who is running and how built their cars are. I don't recall the S7's run time, which determines its chances.

At 1800 you’re doing about 8.3-8.2s. That may make it within the last 2 days. Remember the event should have free crates, so you can get fusions that you’re missing if you lock it in
