CSS and Hexadecimal Color Values

Thank you for making this video. I'm learning to write code on code academy and they started talking about hexadecimal and RGB color values and I was just completely lost but now it makes a lot more sense 🙂

Great explanation, Thank you! What does /*pale green*/ mean? I'm leaning HTML and I haven't came across that yet. Can someone explain what this is?

Have a look here: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/color_value "Pale" means a lighter version of the color. It it were paint, you would add some white paint to green, and then the paint would be "pale green." The link above shows the acceptable color keywords.

I have a question. Not about the video.but I found out the colour #871F78 which has rgb values of 135 31 120. When I convert these three values into decimal and then to hexadecimal I always get 87F8. Which happens because its binary number is missing 4 zeros. Thise zeros dont show up when converting manually.
