Good to see CSX improving the image of Trains after a year of probably not the best coverage. CSX have new heritage units 'Baltimore and Ohio', 'Chessie System', and 'Seaboard System' grey bonnet, as well as several new repaints and rebuilds. NS on the other hand.....! Nice to see CSX taking the extra step in honoring their heritage with B&O, Chessie system, Seaboard system, and possibly more HUs to come. NS still hasn’t learned their lesson of not nrunning DPUS on the huge trains they run on that line. Big trains aren’t fun when they break down. Cool video Mike.👍🏼

What a start to this video...an L356 "Powerhouse"...not just "three engines", but a "slug" in between two "raw" second-generation units...no "SpongeBob" rebuilds here!! Nice clean "look" at the ConRail autorack @17:21...Southern Pacific "all the way" @17:53 with a basic-lettered autorack and no TTX markings anywhere...rare!! Two "crusty-and-rusty" UP autoracks showing their age @18:14..."very metal", as the graffiti says so well!! 👍👍WWOT!!!

I got to sit with I162 for an hour and a half as it blocked Lake Ave in Blasdell waiting to pull farther into Buffalo Yard today. After getting thrown off "private property" that wasn't marked as such where I had sat unbothered for 2 hours, I moved across the crossing and sat for another 3 hours. Saw a dozen trains, almost got to see the BSOR.

NS is losing a wee bit of money with the train stuck in emergency. But like you've said numerous times, if NS ran their trains smarter on the division it wouldn't happen as much. All those ethanol cars with trapped barking seals in them, "Oh, the humanity!" Great action, even the trash train was cool. Enjoyed this much, thanks Mike!

a 2 grey day!! i was wondering when NS would do that again they normally average a breakdown up there what 3 or 4 times a year? was the local having power trouble with a unit? the way i understand it from an engineer there's a couple played out coal mines down around columbus and they've turned them into landfills!
