I love the fact your using 8"s. It's so tempting to go big, but when it bangs hard and they as what you go 12"s and you say 8"s it's such a reward 🤗 Nice job. Try to stay no bigger than 10"s and keep blowing their minds👍

I would recommend you isolate your amp and epicenter from that box. Over time the box vibrations can cause components in the amp to come loose. Best case it can be repaired. Worst case it might catch fire. I would add another board under the amp, the length of the box. Add some small spacers and screw it down on the box corners. The corners don't flex or vibrate. Give it 1/4" or so air gap. That should stop all vibration from getting to the amp.

I havent owned a ct sounds amp but skar is the best bang for ur money and it puts out more than rated

@@CarlosZ-ik7xn agreed on that supposedly the ct has better damping rate but the skar bass knob feels better but the ct is better connected as in its uses the phone jacks that don't just come out like the 3.5 so to each there own really I love ct sounds hate there prices price to performance only goes down when u spend more with them in my opinion like the exo is definitely better but it looks the exact same as the skar vfx and they're performance is close to the same exept rms but skar xmaxx is better and the fs is lower and the skar is half the price so it's just odd with them they have there pros and cons

@@CarlosZ-ik7xn I got a mini mojo 8 with 18 square in of port on .9 cubic feet it was supposed to be 1.25x12 port but came out 1.5 so the volume was lower and the box was tuned higher which really sucks but it still sounds pretty damn good that low end is better than most 10s especially the ones in shitty prefabricated boxes

@@coopergt500twin5 yeah I could have but I just put a 10 in that old box and made a new one for it this time 1.07 ish cubes with a 4in aeroport it came out very well and sounds great the smaller boxe and port and slightly higher tuning keeps it from bottoming out so easily but at the same time under tuning loss of cone control is a factor that can happen
