Those shocks suck. I've bought two sets The gas canisters on both sets just piss air. Not just from around the seals but straight through the metal. Am I suggestion would be to take that shock apart and dump out that crappy corn oil that they put in tap a hole up at the top of the gas canister and fit it for a bleeder. That's what I did to mine and they work semi-okay. But I have nothing good to say about these shocks.

Sorry to hear you haven’t had a good run with these shocks I’ve got a least six bikes I know that run them and haven’t had any leaks or any issues

@@postietv7438 I purchase them off of AliExpress I have a buddy that bought a set off of Amazon and his work semi okay but I've had nothing but bad experience with them but I've seen other people here on KZbin having success with them I just personally have nothing good I can say did you have to take the shock apart and change the oil? Or did they come ready to install? When I took the ones I purchased out-of-the-box I can literally collapse the whole shock with three fingers and that was both sets

@@That1E_K1129 no the ones I got where good to go out of the box haven’t touched them I think with cheaper aftermarket gear it’s always a bit of hit and miss on the quality I got mine on eBay

Hey dude! Newly subscribed follower here. I commend you on your informative and well-paced vids. I am the extremely proud owner of a 1970 CT90 K2 (USA model) that I inherited from my grandfather. LOVE the Make-a-Wish build and more importantly the cause it’s for. My family and I are very familiar with the organization, as, my young daughter is a liver transplant recipient do to her metabolic disease. Keep up the excellent work and you for sure have my support and endorsement.

Easiest way is when riding the bike you will feel the bike continue to bounce after you go over a bump otherwise you will need to remove the spring from shock and test

Yeah I have used from 320mm up to 360mm but I prefer 340mm

Hi Mate, top vid, has helped me understand aftermarket shocks a bit better. One question. Do you recommend 340mm or 320mm shocks for standard replacement? Video says 340mm but the latest link you provided is for 320mm? Cheers

How good are these shocks? I know they are Ebay specials but can you adjust the pressure via the valve or is it there for show

Hey Alex they are a lot better than the original pressure seems to change performance but haven’t cut one up to see if it works might do it live on postie tv soon
