Thank you for running your Strobes on scene and while loading and unloading! I see way too many guys towing without them! And they are usually the first ones to Bitch when a driver or equipment gets struck!
@TowMan12713 күн бұрын
@@johnsmith-wd5sq I always use them when pulling up, loaded and dropping the vehicle off. I just don’t use them when driving around like others do.

Only use mine while blocking. Drunk drivers are drawn to them. People don't care about red and blue lights. They could care less about amber ones. Also when you forget to turn them off and drive with them on people dismiss them even more.

@ people driving with the lights on is a huge problem cause the every day commuter just looks at them like they’re nothing. So many do it out here and also construction companies, landscapers and other drive with their lights on 🤦♂️

How do you like In The Ditch dollies? Strapping down dollies is a must in my opinion. Don't want to hit a bump and lose anything!
@TowMan1272 күн бұрын
They get the job done. Little heavier than Collins dollies. I like the Collins cause they have the safety ratcheting system which is great.

@TowMan127 That and they are easier to use to move vehicles from up against walls.

The people that aren't strapping dollies. Are not paying the insurance bill on the truck
@drp1bb85613 күн бұрын
What? I’ve only used dollie straps 3, or 4x. I’ve dollie towed hundreds of cars. Even dollie towed tandem on flatbeds. Never once was there a issue. We stopped dollie straps because several guys had them come undone and wrap around the dollie wheels. Unless you are flying and I mean flying over the kinds of bumpy roads that make wheels come off the ground is when you will have a problem, and most of those people are dangerous to begin with. Everything else is nonnegotiable like wheel lift straps, safety chains, tow lights, etc.

@@antsy602 I only cross them when the safety chain pockets are further apart on the back of the wrecker. Mine are closer to the center of the wrecker.
