I got 1:57:xx without making any mistakes on out of time, but I gave up trying.. this video gives me hope. Meteor gorge is also an annoying one which is sad because I really like the track. Does anyone else find that these dev times make you hate some of your favourite tracks? I generally enjoy out of time but this trial makes me despise it lol Keep it up Lewis!

2:28 it happened boys it finally happened! Didn’t quite get it but the fact he went for it lesssgooooo haha. Rev your kart faster and I personally just eyeball the boost gauge to make sure i time it right at the start of a race or trial. Keep practicing it Lewis it will become second nature 💕 very impressive!

You can literally just spam the button on the start line, long as you manage to time it that the last big push is just before the green light. Requires practise but I always smash everyone online off the start!

I like using the default one more since you see more of the track, so it's extremely useful in tracks like DSD where you need to see the fans early to decide where you're gonna go, but I guess the alternative one could be useful for the HAS spiral or something like that

Out of Time, man. It's uh... Something. Knowing how to do the fence shortcut and u turning at the clock is key. But the way you take the ramp shortcut after that? Specific way to take it. Get too close to the left of the ramp, and you'll hit an invisible wall while you turn. The little sand mound on the left of the ramp along the edge? Don't touch it. Don't wanna take it wide either. Just wanna hit a little bit to the right of where the brick road starts. After that cutting across the off-road section after that will save you a bit of time. Don't even have to jump. William doesn't take it.

Once I completed the main game of CTR, I tried one time trial in Crash Cove. Didn’t come close to any of the ghosts. Then I made the decision to move on to “We Happy Few”. Haven’t looked back till this came up on my recommendation videos. Thanks KZbin. Lol

Just keep your blue flame and take the corners optimally with a slightly harder shortcut. Almost all of them are like this. U-turn (or hop) at 90 degree turns, sharp turns, u or spiral turns. Roo's tubes is slightly easier than Crash Cove tbh because both tracks are short and all about hugging walls but the ghost doesn't hug them as much at the 2nd half of the track and thus loses a lot of time.
