So sad to see that this series is going to be coming to an end soon. I've been having so much fun beating these alongside you. Ever since you started this I've been checking your channel as soon as I wake up to see what kind of hell awaits me for that day, lol. I remember watching you back when you did the Velo times and thinking we were incredibly similar in terms of skill level; Pretty damn good but still making tiny mistakes everywhere. When these dev times first came out I thought there was no way in hell I'd be able to beat some of them, but every time I watched you do one it made it seem so much more doable. I honestly don't think I ever would have been able to get this close without your channel. You gave me the motivation to keep pushing myself, and for that I sincerely thank you. I can't believe I beat Oxide on all these tracks yesterday alone! Crash Cove Roo's Tubes Turbo Track Slide Coliseum Coco Park Dingo Canyon Papu's Pyramid Blizzard Bluff Polar Pass N Gin Labs Hot Air Skyway Oxide Station Android Alley Dragon Mines is the hardest track, it is actual hell and makes Oxide Station look like a merely fun challenge. Jeez. Mystery Caves and Sewer Speedway are also surprisingly tough too. Btw I agree, I also improved after switching camera angle, it helps a lot to have a clearer view around you from a higher perspective. It's n.sane how much I feel like I've improved in just a few days. This game feels so rewarding once you improve in skill!

Beat all the Dev times earlier, took me about a week, a eventful week it has been with blood, sweat, but no tears (literally, punched my cabinet in frustration after my 200th attempt on Out of Time, if you're curious about the blood part) but I got there. These gives me so much motivation to complete my time trials. Had the game corrupt on me twice in November when starting Crash Cove Oxide TWICE. Been working through all them now beating up to Velo on all tracks. Happy to be back doing some cleaaaan drifting.

Just choose Drift and Slide Coliseum is a breeze. William P. loses a lot of time by skipping a cut (you can cut the grass after the first jumpcut over the wheels), but its way harder so I dont recommend it but still he takes that kinda wide and doesnt U turn after the 2nd jumpcut) and not taking some corners optimally as well. So personally I think everyone overrating Slide Coliseum cuz they probably play it with Speed and its William P.

Hamza - Your comment reminded me of someone saying the top 5 hardest Oxide ghosts and the answers were all Dragon Mines 😂😂 So imo, the hardest ghost for each one: Oxide for Dragon Mines, Velo for Out of Time and Dev for Turbo Track. Slide Coliseum isn’t that difficult if you use drift cuz it gives more reserves when boosting and I agree with Gianni, it shouldn’t be number 1...

@@KaiWoodX2 ah, that ones tough. The trick is that you should always take the spiral and always U Turn around it. The shortcut is quite difficult and your better off taking the normal route. Constantly perfect boosting is also a necessity to keep the flame for as long as possible. If you don't keep your flame at the spiral, that's ok because neither does Oxide. Im not trying to self promo, but I've made a playlist of helpful CTR videos by other KZbinrs that I suggest you watch because it helped me with the Oxide trials

Lewis, mate. You gotta work on not panic-boosting. When you were in the tunnel turn for Koala Carnival, you kept doing to quick Good boosts before needing to jump and realign your trajectory. If you hold it longer, you won’t turn in as quickly. Plus as the games tells us, the longer you fill the bar, the better your reserves are saturated.
