I had a very similiar experience with beating Oxide on this track. Kept losing blue fire after the mansion section but eventually did it. Good job!

Thank goodness some of the ghosts don't keep Blue Flame all three laps for _some_ of the course time trials. Some track layouts make it really easy for you to accidentally bump something and lose your Blue Flame completely.

My best on this track is 1.50.64. You're really good. You'd be a beast if you used the U-turn technique. Just practice on turbo track and you should get into grips with it within half an hour I'd say. That's how I mastered the technique anyway.

rahim thank you! And I can U-turn when I’m in the air after a big jump but I have no idea how to do it without losing speed when you aren’t in the air, is there another method? Maybe I’ve been doing it wrong Edit: I just watched a tutorial, I’ve been doing it wrong this whole time
