Thank you for sharing these excerpts from your grandfather's diaries, I really enjoyed listening to them. A wonderful snapshot into times gone by! In reading them aloud, you've also created a wonderful record for family historians in the future. I'm researching my family history, so I love this sort of thing! Good luck to Noel with the sponsored cycle, I have donated, and wish you all the best from England!

Paul, this is GREAT! Noel's ride will be on my birthday. October 12th! What a great thing to contribute to. I went ahead and bought the foot bath you showed us. Also very excited to look for compounding pharmacy to buy the other items. Hearing about your experience with your neuropathy has so encouraged me to try anything to help stop the pain and I trust your opinion and knowledge. Listening to your story right now. I went outside to find my most comfortable spot to listen. Thank you Paul for sharing and caring. Blessings to you, Noel, & Caroline. Will go over to Noel's donation page after we finish stories here. Just so you know it's me Pippadot my name is Debbie Jares.

Hi Debbie, I'm glad to help. The foot spa feels great, but the pain comes back shortly after you stop the spa. The PEA really does help a lot though. I'm excited for when that PEA video is 3 months old, because I am hopeful that a bunch of people are going to say "hey, it's worked!" Paul.

What an absolutely wonderful story! Your grandfather was quite an expressive writer. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the various chapters of his interesting life. If there is more to his life's journal, please let us hear more. Between his words and your soothing voice, it was time well spent learning about your grandfather's interesting journey through his life. Thanks for letting us be a part of your family's history.❤ Thelma (USA)

Hi Naomi, I've considered this before. I love the idea, but I need to not breach any copyright. Ted's Tales is fine because he is my grandfather, and he would have loved it. Plus he didn't copyright the book. I wish I could just read out my favourite books, but I can't. Paul.

Paul, thank you for sharing that war story, which was fascinating! It made me think about how most of us today will never know what fighting in a war is like! We are an entitled society, with little care or regard for others and little concern about preventing such wars in future! Everyone should hear that story! ❤ From 🇨🇦

Hi Lisa, yes, as a Commonwealth country, Australia was duty bound to support England when she declared war on Germany. Same with New Zealand, Canada, India, South Africa and the West Indies. We all rallied to support our 'mother country'.

Hi Paul, Never quite know where to put these little random comments😊 Am taking the ALA recently added PEA...too soon of course to expect much, but I am noticing some definite experience with INSOMNIA. I take Magnesium glycinate before bed which has worked very well for nearly a year. ( 2×4 upside the head well!) Now, a month or so on ALA/PEA...I'M out like a light for 2 or 3 hours...and then awake for the rest of the night. Just wondering if you can relate? I have to laugh that the man whose council I seek is someone I will NEVER meet, nearly 30 yrs younger, and lives on another continent!! We live in interesting times. (Ann) Love you ❤❤

Usually I can‘t concentrate for long when s.o reads something out to me, but in this case I listened to the whole thing and stayed fascinated till the end. 😊 I wish there was only one single day without war on this planet. 😢 So you are a family of writers (I enjoyed your Substack by the way). I am not sure but wasn‘t your Dad a writer as well? What I do remember is, that he loved language(s) and Etymologie. Good luck to Noel, what a cool project. Australia is such a beautiful country. The array of clocks at Flinders St actually historically displayed the departure time of the trains for each line. They were manually changed after each departure, which was easier “back then” because there were far fewer trains per day than modern times. 😊
