Hey another awesome video. Thanks for the shout out! The other day I forgot to point out that i also have a single thumper 15hp horizontal 1" shaft engine from the era of the IH cub in this video. Im pretty sure it came from a sears and robuck or garden tractor. I may want to part ways with it since its been sitting a while.

That Cub is stout! I like the old style and the shaft drive. Great improvisation on that belt drive too. Low cost, high return. Did the Mud Bugs come with it?

Mr chud one day I need to learn how to build a mud mower and modify engines I remember talking to you and you said you live in keystone heights I live in middleburg Florida I have nobody to teach me I’m not ready yet it’ll be a good while till I’m ready because I need a truck to haul one but I’m wondering if you could teach me when I’m ready and when I get a mud mower I might have to get together with you and do some videos I love the sound of v twin engines I need to learn mechanics it would rock to be able to have a powerful mud mower that sounds good it would rock to learn mechanics

You should put a smaller belt on it. When the belt stretches it’ll be rubbing on itself.

my friend has a cub that is identical to this one, he is turning it into a mud mower at some point, tying to convince him to post a video of it to his channel. it even still has the old kohler k series engine in it.

My brother bought a diesel on like ebay and tried to mount it to a cadet, he cut the frame to try to fit it, curranty a stalled project, but he thinks the idea of a desal lawnmower is soo cool. and it defiantly keeps longer .

@@chud327 not to be the weirdo that comments and then comments on someone else's comment. if i were you i would get a wheel horse or sears suburban chassis and get a chinese diesel (similar to what fearless front runs on his ss16) just make a snorkel and run a vent for your gas tank on the snorkel and your golden. thou make sure you build a belt guard because my suburban used to get mud in my eyes when the belt hit water.

Where do you get your tires and rims?

These back tires and wheels come on the tractor when I got it. The front tires are off of marketplace. The front wheels come off of a John Deere parts mower. I usually find most of my tires on Marketplace. Thanks for watching.

I restored a 20 years old Cub Cadet. It's like bread new. You didn't restore yours, you modified it.

Your engine is in the wrong way and should not be that way cuz I restore cub cadet garden tractor

Notice I did not put in the stock engine. If I spin it around, it will have 3 reverse and 1 forward gear. That would be the wrong way to me cuz I ride cub cadet garden tractor thanks for watching.
