@@themechanicalwolf8627 The instrument rating was by far the most difficult/most rewarding and useful out of flight school by far. Smooth sailing after that w commercial/multi. And wow no way, I'm just across the state. KFMY was my airport

@@themechanicalwolf8627 You've got it! Yeah the checkride is a lot easier than it'd seem. Most people screw up on altitude busts from what I remember according to my then DPE. Hardest part I thought was holds tbh. And yeah PGD is just to the north. Pretty cool airports out on the Gulf side
