Few things to add for viewers interested in this. If you spray this twice (3 times max) it's a really good gourmand and if you spray it 30 minutes before leaving the house you can bypass putting off some people with the weird tar fragrance it starts off with. I know this review is 5 years old and I'm sure others have corrected you but I just wanted to point out a few things for those who stumble upon the video. First Cuba has been around since 1979 when they released Cuba Gold (or classic or simply Cuba at the time). Le Male was released in 1995 so if anything Le Male is a clone but they probably just took the aspects they liked with Cuba and made their own take on it. The same applies to Cuba Royal which is extremely similar to 1 Million which was said but Cuba Royal was released in 2006 while 1 Million was released in 2008. Cuba however did clone Invictus and made Cuba Winner which is an excellent buy and of course Prestige or Prestige Classic which this fragrance is also called was inspired by A*Men which came first. As for the fragrance itself everything said here I 100% agree with however not everyone has fancy tastes, rely on aesthetics or simply can afford A*men. So if you don't already have A*men, have smelled A*men and like it but can't afford it or simply are looking for a good gourmand for a very cheap price tag buy it but go easy on the trigger. There are definitely reasons to buy this for certain categories of people.

When I changed from almost 4 decades of shaving with cartridge razors to the old fashioned DE wet shaving method 2 years ago, I rediscovered everything from my youth. From Old Spice to Aqua Velva to Brut to Englisn Leather to Pinaud Clubman (I bought the whole line). As I've told you before, there's an entire world of artisan aftershave vendors out there who produce some terrific stuff. I've mentioned Fine Accoutrements before. You would love his Fine Platinum that's based on Creed Aventus. Regarding Brut, if you're going to buy it, you have to find a now discontinued bottle of Brut Dominant (many compare it to Fahrenheit) and the still available monster sized gift edition 25.6 oz. glass bottle of Brut Cologne with the medallion. According to Brutworld USA, that's the only version based on the old and strong Faberge formula. The problem is that the bottle looks so cool the way it majestically stands above all others on the shelf, that I don't want to open it! As for Old Spice, it gets very complicated. Suffice it to say that once you delve into the history of Old Spice, you can become fanatical about it! I bought me a bottle of this fragerance last year, just to sample it. I have to say...i adore the smell. Its one of my favorite smelling frags i own. It really does please my nose. Im thinking of trying to pick up a bottle of Amen, in the hope that it will be even stronger

Im on my 2nd bottle of this, and i love it, its a lot like these toffee candies i love. its sweet but not too sweet, with a toffee like smell. that lasts at least 6 hours or more. I own around 20 fragrances and some niche ones, but this is among my favourites and the price is a steal.

My fragrance arrived today and I tried it on at work and the 1st lady who I came across said straight away it reminded her of Angel Men, so you are dead on ! This fragrance reminds me of a cigar and pipe tobacco shop sweetened up, (on my skin), very much a mans fragrance and some thing special about it in every way, I bought it for about $15 on Ebay and very pleased with it, cheers!!

Hello Steven , just watched your old video since I received a few days ago Cuba Prestige , did a blind buy due to price and comments , To me smells exquisite , I'm able to perceive nothing but sweetness , honey vanilla vibe which I like , can't seem to identify the citrusy tones that you mention , different noses I guess. Cannot compare it to Angel Man since I don't own that one in my collection but maybe is not worth buying A*Man since I got one of the closest clones first ..... keep up the good work , I'm a subscriber of your channel.................. Cuba Orange smells like Concentre d'Orange by Hermès.. I smelled them both close and they have many similarities (they are not THE SAME, of course)

I just bought this at Ross the other day and man I wish I got what you smell haha. when I opened mine, the lid wouldn't go all the way down with the bottle in there and when I took the bottle out and the sleeve off, about half an inch of juice was missing and they wouldn't take a return cuz they claimed I used that much in the 5 minutes that I was in my car in their parking lot lol it was only 6.99 so i'm not that hurt over it but I may try to buy another one online or something if it smells as close to A men as you think it does. great review

Hahaha... funny that your lid doesn't fit on there. My bottle was also missing a lot of fragrance when I opened it. I think it's a 3.4oz bottle, but they only fill it with 3oz of liquid. That's what the people at Ross don't know. Sorry you weren't able to return it. The price though is phenomenal. The smell is very very close. Thanks for watching!

Would really appreciate if you could consider perhaps breaking uniqueness and scent/smell into separate categories; I think that despite being non-innovative clones fulfil an important roll in the market; not all of us are able to rock out exclusive niche or even some niche-priced designer frags and judging a clone's scent on it's own merits without burdening it with the task of being itself also an innovator can be quite valuable for people that are simply looking to attain an experience a clone is designed to fulfil to begin with.

You claimed that Cuba Prestige is a winter fragrance but would it be wrong to wear it, or out of place on a Friday or Saturday in the summer since it sounds like it might possibly draw some women in? If it smells like A*men that that would mean it's at least somewhat seductive if it's a decent clone? It's a chemical mess, unless I've received a bad bottle or something. I bought this a while ago for a couple dollars online to get a free shipping for my entire shopping cart, so no big loss heh... but it's so hard to describe.... it smells like an old abandoned house in the middle of forest or a burned out coffee pot lol. I'm surprised by how many good reviews this one has. Never tried Mugler's A*Men but I refuse to believe they are identical to Cuba Prestige like some people say. I'd say it's better to spend few more dollars and buy one of those Turkish/Arabian knockoffs, it's a lottery sometimes but some brands do a pretty close knockoffs, better than Cuba stuff in my opinion.

I was sent a vial as a sample that I was going to give to a lady friend, but I took one whiff and thought, "Wow. That's based on A^Men". I put a small drop on my wrist and it was projecting like crazy. I've never bought a woman's perfume before, but many say this is like a unisex parfum..

I think Prestige is a great replacement for A*Men. They smell very very similar to each other. Also, Cuba Red is a great tobacco based fragrance. The smell is different, and I'm not sure if I know what designer they're imitating with that one. My favorite Cuba is Gold just because it was the first one I ever purchased back in 2003 and it brings back a lot of memories. I see online that Remy Latour Cigar and Cuba Red smell very similar to each other, but I've never smelled Cigar. Let me know if you think they smell similar! Thanks for watching!

Redolessence Thanks so much for the timely response! Yes it appears that Cigar and Red are similar but it appears also that Red has more spices and Cigar is a little smoother in transitions. That is why I ordered both. Now becuse I live in Costa Rica I have to mostly blind buy online and wait a couple weeks for the courier to deliver the packages but I will definitely let you know the differences once I get the bottles! 2020 comment here, blind bought this out of my local Ross for less than $8 USD. So, allow me to state a few things. Im not new to the fragrance community, and can appreciate the best and the worst of them. This being said, never ever heard of Cuba Prestige prior to seeing it on the shelf. Guess you never stop finding and learning right? Well, I couldn't smell it but for the price I couldn't go wrong. Looked up a few reviews on fragrantica and the like, decided at the very least, the longevity would be great for my job (Fedex driver.) I sprayed it twice in the car and my gf immediately asked me what I sprayed. Showed her the very unique bottle and cigar-esque shape and she was in love. Mind you, she's not like us fragrance lovers. We can distinguish base notes, openings, etc and she just knows when something smells good ; plain and simple. After all, arent we all in this game to smell great? Whatever the answer is for you, I loved it as much as my girlfriend did. Very manly-sweet. She said it smelled very seductive and edible. I think this is a win. Cant wait to use it in a real time setting out and about my daily routine to see the longevity and projection for what you said it would be. Thus far, winner in my book. Cheap price, cashier woman at ross said it was great, my girlfriend absolutely loved it and I do too. Win-win. Will update this comment soon with more info. Thank you!

Very daring fragrance this one and the original. I don’t know why I can’t get any good thing from it, I’m still smelling it and I still don’t get all this sweetness, dry down is the best part and it only last around 2 hours on me but before that!, you can literally shock everybody up! Super strong, give me headache. I won’t recommend this fragrance. Price? 9 dollars original 27 dollars still cheap if you want to try it.

Hello mate great review as always, have you ever tried linn young Silverlight, its almost a perfect clone for A Men I think its better than Cuba Prestige also lasts for a good 8-10 hours smells great, linn young also does clones for spice bomb, valentino uomo, Le Male, and more and they are very good clones at a great price, would like you to review Silverlight and see what you think, anyway great reviews cheers fella!

Just blind bought this one for $7, mainly for the look on my shelf, I'm a cigar fan and like the presentation. The smell is very odd and strange. The sweetness with the orientalness is a really weird combo to my nose from a test strip. Not sure how I feel about it. It's definitely something you wear because you like and not wearing to catch the nose of someone else.
