I like the sandblasted matte finish! I think it would look good with a polished accent somewhere on the same piece. Polishing the sleek lock or sides of the links would really set the piece off with a 1 of 1 look.

Garcias chains are amazing! I got one at the beginning of the year after watching Cuba’s video from last year with the 22k chain. I went 7mm 18k 26” infinity and never take it off, sleep pool ocean shower. No issues. No box lock to worry about. Their quality is on point. Would love to get a bracelet (18k 13mm) but with gold the way it is won’t be for some time. Cuba I don’t think I could do a sandblasted one, I like the no plate shine that brightens up whenever I wash it. I would like to see a comparison of their bracelet box vs sleek lock not sure which would sit on the wrist better. Thanks for the great content Cuba!

I have the skull ring from HB, and it is also sandblasted. I really love it. I would wear that sandblasted bracelet, no question about it. It is so unique and cool. And it is not going to get dragged across the pavement or crushed in an anvil. But after a long life it will have PERSONALITY. Very big kudos to the person that requested this. It is clearly someone that likes to have nice things that not everyone else has.

I got a Garcia bracelet 2 months ago, 9mm 7.5 inch, absolute perfection. The only thing I'm not huge fan of is they charge extra for rose gold or white gold.

I wish they just had it on their website. I just purchased myself a 7 inch 8 mm. The 8 to 9 is the biggest noticeable difference, 9 to 10 not so much. Time to wait 3 to 5 months lol

those links are TIIIIIIGHT. i have a DJI 6mm (smallest handmade they make) 18k 22" (79g) cuban and their links were hella wide 😢 got it two years ago lol nonetheless i loved the custom box lock they made. was my first chain so i may upgrade soon. thanks for the vids Cuba 💯💯

Right on time, I’m heavily considering going with Garcia’s. They have the best price as of now out and make a beautiful link from what I see in pictures and videos. Still gotta go check them out and Gus and see their links in person first. Gus may be worth the higher labor costs depending on what one is looking for and how picky they are. His links seem to be a hair tighter than Garcia but it’s hard to tell without them in hand.

Very nice, I went for a 10k chain too with the recent gold prices. Something you said about getting the right maker for the chain kinda clicked because for me I believe in also getting the right millimeter. I went got a 6mm and I'm happy because it's a really nice daily wear. I was gonna get a 7mm for daily wear but 6mm was nice enough for me so I just went with that.

sand blasted looks like PLASTIC, i wouldn't do that BUT i do kind of prefer a less high sheen polish or less diamond cutting like what you see on vintage pieces, particularly victorian 18k pieces that tend to glow a very dark yellow gold in the light instead of sparkling. you KNOW they're not plated too because they're vintage and would lose value if repolished
