Growing up on KZbin, there wasn't any real cigar journalism out there. Except for Nic himself. I learnt so much as a young lad trying to figure it all out amongst a family of pipe smokers. No one has since come close. Rest in Peace Nic.

This is a great video footage I often watch it. I regret I didn't follow your cigar walk when I visited the UK several years ago. But I sure will next time. Got em, smoke em, Cheers!

Love this! I have a great friend who spends a lot of time in London. He has no idea that I've been smoking cigars for over 25 years. I just asked him if next time when he's there, if he could pick me up a couple of sticks. I might have gotten myself into some trouble.

@NicMWing I was in London several years ago. Next time I will take this historic cigar tour. Sir, I would like to look you up for a fine smoke at one of these fine places. Thanks for the tour!

@NicMWing Interesting and amazing that It is also possible for customers to "sample" a cigar in many UK Cigar stores, I can't wait to get back to the UK. Thanks for the info!

@nicwing1 I look forward to it! I was just in Kent over Christmas visiting family (I live in Canada) and got up to London a few times. Seen the touristy sites too many times to count so I walked through mayfair St. James, and through Belgravia mostly...very enjoyable, especially all of the fine men's stores along Jermyn street...I might be back in the summer and would love to do the cigar walk, are you doing any accompanied ones then? Cheers, great video, Andrew R

All London stores boast Churchill as an exclusive costumer.Sir Winston was so busy!
@ChimcharrNo16 жыл бұрын
Churchill was a wanker but all conservatives love him so i guess they're wankers too, funny thing is the cigars which they smoke are from a country where they would have hated him too haha
@enricomemmoli73996 жыл бұрын
I read somewhere that the last few years of his life he smoked Sumatra cigars,more light than cubans
@ChimcharrNo16 жыл бұрын
Interesting, as far as i know most world renowned leader such as Churchill and JFK only smoked the super premium Cubans. In them days they were the best because the demand was lower compared to today and so they came aged from the factories. Nowadays you have to age them yourself as the demand is so high the factories just release them without any real age.

I know is the first cuban problem,in old times cigars was seasoned in Cuba and in a few specialized shops,less cigars less smokers, today everybody want a havana in his lips,over production kill quality,China end new world markets ruin the cuban cigars quality.Privatization the brands is the only way for make cuban great again.

Cigars' pieces in UK are criminal, almost three time what you'd spend in continental Europe. Buy cigars in EU, trust me.

It's a joke, even for non-Cuban cigars. £10 for cigars that cost $3 in America.

I have learned that the number 1 fake cigar seller is Cuba themselves. They actually have at time run out of their tobacco and have used Nicaraguan tobacco in the filler of their cigars. I cannot blame them they have to keep up with demand. I get my cuban cigars from Spain and have not had a problem yet. Peace.

Hi Jonathan, I'm aware of the two new outlets in Shepherds Market and one of them is on my new London Cigar Guide App. It's hard to update the Audio Guide so we created the App. There's an update due very soon with a load of new places to enjoy your cigars.
@nicwing112 жыл бұрын
Come and try it, it's certainly not boring. We don't just talk about cigars, the audio guide passes some of London's most fabulous shopping, the site of the Beatles last live gig, Sir Winston Churchill's shirt maker and his club. By the way the guide is now included in our new App the London Cigar Guide. Find it on the App store.
