@@lX-NDR the way you can swap out samples on the fly is better in ableton too..Speeds up workflow. I wanna change but i really CBA learning it 😂😂

@@lX-NDR but you don´t need it. (I hate Max4Life ^^ ) Im in EDM too. Cubase has also great tools for sounddesign!

@@TravelChimp I´m not a "random swapping samples" EDM producer. If you know what you are doing, you can work in a targeted manner.

I’m a Cubase user since the days of V1 on floppy disk and I have always said the sequencer just doesn’t have any vibe Even when you add your own humanisation, there’s just something about it Just like the legendary drum machin the TR909 Or A sequence on MPC All have their own vibe The sequencer in cubase just does not seem to have it It’s hard to explain, but if you know what I mean, you know what I mean 🤔 I still use Cubase obviously Otherwise I’ve just wasted 35 years LOL

😁 Cubase is very limited with waveshapers. Its DaTube, SoftClipper, and Quadrafuzz are so bad that nobody digs them and is not using them, prefer sticking with compressors. So their sound is soft, not loud, and not aggressive.

maybe a useful trick. if you want to have great drums use paybeat 3. that sequencer has a great feel to it.
