Cubasis: Syncing audio with virtual midi and Audiobus

Great Video Ryan! You are so right on the money when you said it's very similar to recording on my computer DAW...I used to use Sonar and that's exactly how my work flow was. I would use a soft synth and I would record both midi and audio simultaneously and this way if I had to change any of it the midi track made it a breeze and then I could just play and record as you did!! or the beauty of midi move it around have the bass play a drum line or any number of cool things!! thanks for posting!

Good. I think the freeze track proces in CB to free used MIDI track apps is a more efficient way of achieving the same.

i am not sure why but this doesnt seem to work with the dm1 drum machine. i have to set the output in cubasis to virtual midi... doesnt work so smooth

Beathawk won't let you select it on the midi input. Midi triggers all instruments or wrong instrument and changing channels don't help.

Hi : ) we have alesis io dock and use with audiobus for app and cubasis for recording but the instruments, notthe apps, connected with io dock guitar microphone ecc listen but can't recording why ?
