Enjoyed that Derek brought back some great memories not been up there for a few years used to go up the track from ogden to the rams head then across the track down into marsden then back over the moor passing the reservoirs down over harrop edge to dobcross back up through delph to grains bar and drop home, great ride🚴‍♀

Is the track from Ogden res to the Rams Head and across the road further up to where I saw those young bulls? It's a good way from Marsden itself. I'm looking out of my window and it's raining again. Not been on the Cube since the 2nd March due to rubbish weather. Cheers.

aye derek you come over the track from a bit further up from the rams head and pass readycon dean res you came the other way on one of your rides turn left for a mile or so then onto the pennine way for a few miles then follow the track down marsden moor over the fairy bridge into the town, hope to get out with you again very soon, cheers.@@derektaylor6713

One of the joys of cycling is a long downhill swoop and if the winds in your favour it make the previous uphill climb seem all the more worthwhile, the spot in the centre of the screen didn't detract from the enjoyment t of the video.

Hi Alan. Nice to hear from you. Yes, I for one, agree that climbing hills, even on an e bike isn't one of my favourite pastimes lol. And the steamy spot on the glass was a mystery. It's never done it before or since. Really odd. And another thing about this Gopro is that watching my videos back, I seem to be going faster than I was. Compared to the Wimius (which has bitten the dust) it does appear faster. I think everything is slightly flattened out which must give the appearance of greater speed. Hills don't look as high and things seem much further away. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Derek, Nice to come along on your journey.I have exactly the same bike but added a few modifications 😊( 2 tooth bigger front sprocket, better saddle, Speedbox 3, ) I only have power in one leg (even that isn’t that good 😅)it’s transformed what I can do. Managed over 40 miles a few months ago in one day 👍👍

Hello Flooringfitter. How do you pedal with one leg? Have you a clip on the good leg? Exactly the same bike as me. I love mine. The new ones all look a bit erm..... odd. Did you change the crank wheel yourself? The one on this Cube is looking a bit worn but not too bad. I'll leave it for now. I used to use floor fitters on my Rochdale Council level access showers and I know it can be bad on the knees and legs or am I wrong. Cheers.

And by the way, 40 miles is not bad. I know you can get much further in Eco but it's tough going. I got 72 miles over a few days once. And then changed my route and got 102 miles. Battery ended up totally flat on both rides.

@@derektaylor6713 My bike has been modified by a brilliant local shop 👍*both knees very bad, one leg 🦵 has no power from a ruptured Achilles tendon etc etc 😅 I can’t pedal very fast , hence the 2 tooth bigger sprocket, very few hills down south so it’s fine.(New Forest) I can’t go very far but there is always a way of getting around slight issues 😊The speedbox 3 gives me full assistance after 15mph, not exactly legal 😅 but it’s nothing to do with top speed. No more 4:31 crawling around on my knees many years ago , love my Cube, I will keep going as it’s as important to the mental health as the physical.

@@flooringfitter7292 You are a credit to us all. I'll never moan again. Just to let you know I've just given up again on uploading the next video on KZbin. It uploads ok but then gets stuck at processing. It just says it's taking longer than expected - please wait. I call over 2 hours a bit much so I've give it up as a bad job and deleted it AGAIN!! Good luck for the future.

Hi Derek That was a lovely ride through the Pennines, I'm glad you didn't risk it with them bulls in that field! How many £20 notes will you give Me to not show Helen this blatant road traffic violation of the highway code, subsection 3 paragraph 8b, and probably the Geneva convention also, 40mph at one stage! Lol. Brilliant stuff mate but please take care, it did look very greasy. I did think you would catch the rider while approaching the dam. You all have more guts than me, I'm never that comfortable on fast A roads with cars going past you at speed. I am very envious though, the views even in winter looked stunning. Hi Daron. Glad you're okay. If you go fast enough, the cars can't keep up lol. Honestly It didn't feel that fast and Helen reads comments on her phone before me so she's bollocked me aleady. I've been nervously hanging on to this film because of the speed but seriously, I won't be going that fast again. In fact I've hardly been out on the Cube lately because of the weather and my back and now hip soreness. I actually went over four weeks without cycling which is a new record for me. Nice to here off you. Hope Gale is okay. Cheers.

Hi Rory. Younger guys on lighter sports bikes. After the pedal assist gives up it gets harder to increase the speed on this heavy bike. Besides, I wouldn't have liked to show them up. lol. Cheers.

Hi Derek, do you know it's legal to use the throttle at a walking pace so I use mine for Hill starts? Or other scenarios 👌🏾

Hi Rory. I'm afraid my Cube hasn't got a throttle only Walk Assist. If you mean setting off up hill with it it doesn't do much on this bike. Cheers

Hi Kid. Non of the bikes that burnt me off were electric! My bike is limited to 15.5mph assistance and once reached, you're on your own and it's a very heavy bike compaired with the sort they had. And they're younger and probably a lot fitter anyway. I've avoided showing this video because of the speed I was doing in places but today, I suddenly thought, to hell with it lol. thanks for the comment.
