I've also got beef with A perms. They're the only adjacent corner swaps where the main algs don't put the headlights on the offhand side, which makes recognition especially tedious, and the actual execution is pretty awkward for how short it is. Meanwhile I really like the G perms which I keep doing as a fidget trick without looking at the cube only to take a gander and find out I've somehow ended up with a T perm.

My beef with a perms is the rotation and the D moves (i cant do d moves properly) I also, for some reason, use the G perms as a fidget trick. Although I somehow end up with a Z perm more often

Coincidentally the Nb perm was the first one I learned cause I went by recognition and that's the first one I noticed over and over in my beginner solves. I did the worst alg for it but I was so proud of myself for recognizing something other than the 6 algs I knew as a beginner and it prompted me to venge further into the rabbit hole...

How I recognise R perms easily: They’re like T perms, but when it’s in the T perm position, the left and right sides aren’t opposite, so it’s an R perm.

I hate A perms. I learned some new algs for them and then promptly forgot them. I just can't get my brain to use the new algs when I'm actually doing a full solve. I did learn a new alg for Nb. I even like it.

You should definitely try out the RUD A perms. They're are longer but they're super fingertrick and auf friendly. Tymon has sub 4 solves with them.
