And of course with the help of your tutorial, she learnt it!! Seriously I can't thank you enough and neither can she. Tysm.

Speedcubing is honestly one of the best things that happened in my life. I remember watching one of my friends solving it and was SOOOO impressed. I did some research online and came across a KZbin video, and after a day of memorizing and practicing, BOOM, I had solved my first rubiks cube. After that one day KZbin recommended me a video called "How to solve a Rubik's Cube in under 30 seconds", and my speedcubing journey started. It started as just a random skill I had, and then turned into an obsession. I've been cubing for roughly 2 years now and my average is sub-12 seconds. There are small kids solving Rubiks cubes like twice as fast as me, but that just makes me happy for some reason lol. The people in the cubing community are one of the nicest and sweetest people I've met, except for like one or two bad people (cubeforspeed im looking at you 👁👁). It might sound a little cheesy but some people like Tingman, JPerm, cubeorithms, CubeHead (and many more!) have played a very important in my life. I just want our cubing cult- i mean community to reach as many people as possible💗

On your third point: I tried the cube in the 80s for a bit but never solved it. Then in 2020 I decided to learn how to solve it so I could teach it to my niece and nephew. I practiced the beginner method and got down to about two and a half minutes. Then about 6 months ago i decided to try to use my phone less so decided to carry a cube instead. And it has become a conversation starter and connection. PB is 40 seconds and now I am trying blindfold. Edit: 35.8 is my best and I am working on larger cubes. Just got a 6x6 and getting better at Megaminx.
