It’s also kinda crazy the US nr is 3.49, there are so many people capable of breaking that, but after clock is about making accurate moves and doing them fast, so in comp nerves can take over and make you less accurate or start the get nervous at the end of the solve when the beginning of your solve is good

I think the pin rule is a good change. It doesn't actually change the state of the puzzle and it greatly prevents issues with accidental DNFs, etc. It's the equivalent of rotating a cube for a favourable start. I also think Clock should have more +2s. Eg) If the position can be solved with one rotation of a corner (with a certain pin arrangement), that should be a +2. Obviously, it requires some basic knowledge from the judge, but it seems fair. The lack of ways to get +2 makes Clock much more haphazard than other events.

6:39 Why does he not get another chance with a properly scrambled clock for his last solve after the misscramble? It seems to be really unfair to punish a player like that for something completely out of his control.

Yeah, just as I thought the regulation change did make times drop. Very impressive that it happened so soon. I still don't think it's a good change but I don't have a good solution. At my last competition they asked us to hold the clock upright underneath the cover then the judge would lift it a moment later. The second half of my comment on screen was about 5x5 miscrambles allowed. Honestly that one may be worse, I think it adds more luck factor into it.

I have a doubt on CSP. can we trace the star cases from any orientation, because for this one particular scramble, i got odd parity, but only if i execute the even alg is there no parity. I don't know what i am doing wrong. And, do we have to track each case the exact same way. for example, in star, the bottom doesn't matter, but the top do we HAVE to trace the same way even if the scramble is oriented different?
