I know some people hate the game because each and every update makes them think that it's not Minecraft. We should always know that in order to make the game alive, we must evolve it through updates... But if that's what really you guys think. Minecraft is one of my favorite games during my childhood era, I'd never forget one single moment with it. Even with each update, each mistake that the devs did, I would never stop playing the game, and that I would always look up at the devs at Microsoft and that they would never give up giving joy and happiness to the players.

The very first time I watched it, I was spellbound by that idea of pure possibility. My first day involved like 15 consecutive deaths while I tried to figure out the controls to the game and how to craft objects. Monsters were terrifying. I couldn't figure out how to get underground or make a shelter. I didn't know the recipe for anything. I had to guess at everything. Zombies were killing me. Skeletons were turning me into pin cushions. Creepers were appearing behind me and blowing up. I was always lost in a wood. I kept starving. I was thinking, "This is a kid's game? This has a steeper learning curve than any game I've ever played."

I've come so far in my main SSP world, tamed the land around me and built magnificent structures in the digital space which is now a second home to me. I live as a King of old in my grand castle of carven stone, unchallenged by man, beast, or dragon. And yet, when I find myself ascending high cold towers at night to ask questions of the stars, or when I wander the forest groves and barren hills to survey my kingdom, I still sometimes think back to that first day with a feeling of bittersweet nostalgia, when I spawned on a gravel beach without an item to my name or a clue about how the game worked. The game was simpler, my skills less developed, but it was some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game. Minecraft is, without a doubt, the best $20 dollars I've ever spent.
