keep in mind thath cleo did not run as much as cub, she doesn't have a powerfull deck and her win rate is 38%, she would actually need 3 runs to get an uncommon card like loot and scoot, so by her side it was a fari trade

I think for Cleo it is a fair trade. For any other hermits that's addicted to Decked Out 2 and played great as well like Grian, its definitely unfair. The unbalanced trades they mentioned was probably 2 common cards for a shard. Now that's unbalanced, even for the not-so-active nor good at DO2 players. Edit : 2 common for 1 shard, not 2 shards. It was Bdubs & Cleo trade-up if I recall correctly, correct me if I'm wrong.

I feel like Bounding strikes is worth it even though it is bad in certain situations, lots of hazard in Level 2 and 3 can be overcome with jump boost

Bounding strides is super underrated. It essentially trivializes hazard and 2 parkour sections on level 2 for both entry and exit, and it alleviates blocked hazard stairs on level 3. And finally, it's a free key on level 1. I don't understand why more hermits haven't maxed this card out.

@@nullptrRL I guess Hermits have a mind block on the hazard (which can be overcome using a Jump boost) and still use the other way which is the alternate to Jump Boost even though they have jump boost (e.g, dripleave vs wither rose or the level 3 staircases)

@@smathik Exactly! Hermits may think it's a bad card because it hurts for dripleaf parkour, but I would say that you shouldn't even route that direction if the card played. You should just bypass wither rose parkour and pick your favorite direction in or out of the dungeon from there.

I mean, there's the daycare room with the armor stand queue they could all go to and hang out in. He could redecorate that. On the flip side, it would be hilarious if some Hermits started building a 'vacation base' inside Tango's base (with his permission, of course).

I saw the armor pop out and thought about how many chests tango must have have armor since each piece takes up 1 whole slot. Then I realized the crafter could come in clutch. Instead of storing armor, store the diamonds and when someone activates armor up it spits out the armor, then crafts up a new set to replace it. The crafter is really going to be game changing. Never thought I’d see autocrafting in Minecraft.

The thing is Tango is getting the diamond armor from Villager trading, so there’s nothing to craft. It would save space but Tango isn’t using diamonds.

cub: gets a ton of embers and gets nothing he likes in the shop. also cub: not liking the card that can help counter this problem in the future. (imo the rare u passed seems really strong considering u can get up to 3 of them and if they stack thats nearly double the shop size each round! really strong card. maybe not for the price, but getting it so early can really help with future deck building)

You fully deserved that shared win! You definitely have plenty of skill. However, you seem to be lacking on treasure cards (Loot'n'scoot, etc.), because you are still often struggling to find a key. Doc and Etho for example have maxed out loot'n'scoot cards and they are far less stressed out about the keys. You might consider expanding your deck in that direction in the next phase.

Note to self : never submit perfect round number of tomes like 10, 20, 30... even the five one are often chose, 25, 35... that's a human thing ! Either go 11,16 or 21 tomes for exemple This can grant you supreme victory 🙃 PS : yes, this phase you didnt have much choice cause you had just 20... but you get the point i'm sure ! :)

Dungeon Lacky on Suit Up looks a lot more interesting with the resist and healing potion at your disposal together and Tango being hardier too. You'd have to make him sneak everywhere, but splitting up to get keys could be useful especially when the Deepfrost opens up. That last key will make RNKey so much nastier

Things are looking very good indeed!!! Cub has gotten to the point where he can survive very tough key luck and lower level three runs without too much trouble. At the same time, Cub doesn't have too big of a need for more cards with the edition of new frost ember cards-maybe just a bit more hazard block. With the occasional exception for very powerful cards, Cub can focus on grinding for victory tomes almost exclusively! Go for 1st Cub!!!!

35:31 I wish a Hermit would go through the flames once to test out the passages behind them. It looks like a water elevator, possibly heading up. Would be neat if it took you to level 1 or even level 2 to that cave with the chests where the iron bars are.

It's a water elevator for wardens to get to floor one. When the game is off the exit opens. If a player goes up during the game they will drown at the top.
