And another sign of intelligence is his apparent affection for the cat, or perhaps many species find cats appealing. Probably not mice or birds though! Turtles can cause series injury as that beak is hard and sharp and a turtles bite muscles are nothing to joke about. People have lost fingers and worse. This looks more like a box turtle -- I don't think I'd even consider an alligator snapping turtle for a home.
