This too cute! Reminds me of my mom and my sweet fur baby boy. She went from “I don’t want a dog in my house” to “Bring me my grand dog?” They became best friends and he helped her live longer than she would have without him in her life. When she was in the hospital, she would tell the doctors that she just wanted to get home to her grand dog. They are both in heaven now and I’m sure they are having all the fun two besties can have. Enjoy that sweet, crazy boy! ❤

Wow! So much like my pittie Piggy! My husband brought her home and said “I got you this” I looked at him and said “I like cats” . Piggy has since become my BFF! Under 5 minutes and toys are a pile of fluff and scraps. She follows me everywhere. Gets all mopey when I have to go to work. Pitties are the best with the most soulful eyes and biggest hearts!

My pittbull rescue started the same way! She was 2 1/2 and lived from kill shelter to kill shelter and finally a rescue came and took her where she could live her days until she was adopted. So my 2 teenage daughters and my husband wanted a dog and I said no for years and finally I figured they would be old enough to be responsible for her… the new wore off soon and this dog that I didn’t want has become the best thing to happen to me! My husband passed away a few years ago and this dog knew I needed so much extra love and understanding and boy does she give it!!! Hannah is in my bed every night and sits next to me anywhere I go… I wouldn’t go back to being without a dog again 💛💛💛💛💛

I have one I never wanted either. My son and I were driving on a back road in the middle of nowhere and found her, a puppy, in the middle of the road on a very hot humid Texas morning. Didn't have the heart to ignore her, so of course brought her home. Tried to find someone who wanted her but no one wanted a pit so we kept her. This dog has the most expressive face I have ever seen on a animal, you can tell exactly what she is thinking by looking at her face and eyes. She is very intelligent, follows commands easily though she has never been formally trained. She does have a very stubborn streak in her though and hates cats. We enclosed our three acres in order to keep her in because I worry that she might go after someone's pet. The vet says she actually is a pit retriever mix but she looks fully pit. I think this dog woud risk dying to try and protect us, she's very loyal.

Oh my gosh! Ace and our Luna could be twins. I’ve had giant dogs all my life. But we rescued Luna after one of our Corsos died. Best decision ever. I love Staffies and Pitties. They’re love bugs.

He LOVES his grandmommy!! My grandmama did NOT like cats until she rescued one out of window seal. It was a WRAP!! My bro's cat even reminded my mom when it was nap time. She kept running back & forth when my mom would walk toward the stairs, she said that's when it clicked w/her what she was doing. It got to the point where she would call for her to remind her, I'm upstairs, it's that time ❤. Animals are the best.
