I dunno about that, but attractive women in retail get perved on all the time. And even other women are shady. @@Jack_Woods forget flirting. You can litteraly tell when someone doesn't want to talk to you or doesn't like you when you have to litteraly force a conversation. He is not just socially awkward at some points he laughs bc of some of the responses make it obvious she doesn't want to give him any info. Yet he keeps trying. Ppl who catcall or harass ppl and then clearly show that they are aware that you are dodging them just think either of two things. One that this like a game, if he says the right thing, he will unlock somehow likeability or impress a woman. Two that the woman is playing hard to get and that she just needs to be dominated to 'give it up'. That he might somehow get her to accept advances or give him a chance just because she's tired of fending him off. In both cases they know they aren't wanted and usually these ppl get mad after or tell you, you lead them on. BC they feel like they wasted their time and energy when they were completely unwanted and somehow feelike they are being looked down upon if they get rejected. As in 'does she think I'm not good enough' ?!

3:50 fun fact: beer was VERY commonly drank even by children during the era that jesus supposedly lived. it was less alcoholic than modern brews, but it was safer than a lot of water sources, as the alcohol killed any bacteria in the beer, making it much safer than water. so even children drank it back then.

I was at the Female Date Strategy stream and for some reason it wasn't until this post did it hit me how incel-like this group is. They have lingo and a predetermined mindset about a whole group of people. I see both stem from a place of hurt and fear though I think the girls have more of a leg to stand on. Neither are good and encourage viewing others in a "What can I gain from interacting with you" mindset. Pretty strange and upsetting.

@@ThriftShopTunes I'm glad too! I sometimes fear that I will go down this path based on personal experiences in my dating life. I see these women trying to protect themselves from sexual abuse and overall being taken advantage of, but it also fosters a mentality that can make a person sick thinking that bad things will happen to them or lead them to devalue other people. I assume the people who subscribe to this don't advocate for the physical harm of men, but I haven't spent much time looking at the subreddit beyond Cue's stream.

This video reminded me of a fun harmless brony story to share: in March of 2020 when I was 23 years I was in San Diego for work related training. My friend, a 28 year old woman, who I used to work with was also there for some long term work event and I decided to visit her. She was staying a hotel meant for long term stays with her husband whom I had never meant. He was hanging with some of his friends and she invited me to catch up. I was told just to come in and as soon as I do I am greeted by my friend, her husband and 3 of his friends (all of similar ages) watching a stream of my little pony. I see them slightly freeze at seeing an outsider and they say “it’s not what it looks like”. Now I had been a teen online during the 2010s and saw the worst the brony fandom had to offer on the likes of 4chan, but I knew instantly that these people were harmless and just enjoyed the show. Without missing a beat I said “what season are we on and how do you guys feel about about the Equestria Girls movie?” I saw them all visibly relax and offer me pizza and beer. I was never in the fandom myself but absorbed enough info from internet osmosis to get by. They were all pretty cool people with a shared interest. I have to emphasis this was days before the lockdown and the last hangout I had before being stuck in my hotel room. They were all discussing whether there was still going to be any fan conventions going on. Looking back I’m so glad I didn’t let any of the online interactions I’ve had over the years change my perception of these people and I had a fun time.
