In Manipur it's called Sha maroi or Awa phadigom(Awa means Burmese and phadigom means Dhania) to my knowledge I think, they were introduced in North East by the Burmese.

Eat Your Kappa It came out rather nice! For convenience, I however followed the roasting / frying techniques you used in your other video (Assamese dried fish chutney). Also, I retained the garlic from that recipe as I live garlic. I must compliment you for a great series of simple to follow recipes showcasing the cuisine of northeast India. You are doing a great job. All the best for the future.

how do you grow this culantro 🙄
@EatYourKappa7 жыл бұрын
CEO Amaru Hi, They just grow wild in our arecanut plantations and forests in our region. They produce tiny seeds, you can grow them from it. It's not much known or used outside Mexican, Indo-carribean, Southeast Asian, Northeast Indian and South Indian communities. Plus it's not much commercially grown. If you stay around these regions, you might get the seeds.
