Y’all would know which chucky’s are alive lol . Pay attention to when the blood veins are in the eyes that’s how you know when the doll is possessed . Also remember the reason chucky didn’t bleed back in curse of chucky is because he hasn’t been resurrected that long . Give him about 24 hours and he starts to turn human and then he can be killed . With this new trick though he turns human faster . Also the girl who played nica is the actual daughter of the guy who voices chucky ! She has the laugh and everything down ! One thing to note, none of these movies have CGI dolls. The effects are all practical. The puppeteer work is truly top notch and has progressed a lot since the first movie. Whenever y'all do get around to watching Season 1 of Chucky, after each episode they posted a "First Look" online on here that went behind the scenes of that particular episode and it shows a lot of what goes into making Chucky move and walk around as well as other fun things.

Ngl i feel so bad for Alice bc she was the first one who the Soul transfer spell has worked on. I think there was a scene showing Alice!Chucky killing someone but i think Brad had said that it was cut. Poor Alice though had no idea, hence dying offscreen since a victim fought back. Drew makes the great point the movie doesn't have to make sense necessarily. But if it's a sequel it has to make sense continuity wise to the movies that came before it. In order to make sense as a movie Child's Play 1 through 3 make sense continuity wise. Because the ritual which the soul is transferred is the same. Same timetable and same result if you fail to do it in time the body your in becomes a real body. Starting in 4th movie all that goes out the window. I mean this movie alone shows they don't care about any continuity. Because you have one Chucky doll that had a soul in it longer. Thats missing a arm an it's not bleeding and it feels no pain. Then you have the Chucky doll Andy delivered it just got brought to life. But when Andy goes to get the gun he hidden inside of it. It is already feeling pain an bleeding it is pretty much a human body. After what 5-10 minutes but the doll that is missing an arm. Still doesn't feel pain and it's still not bleeding it's still a doll body. Even though it was alive longer then the doll Andy delivered. Wich felt pain and became a human body in 10 minutes give or take. So that literally in this movie shows there is no continuity so it makes no sense. Not to mention the Chucky head that Andy has bleeds an feels pain. So it literally makes no sense how it works. Is there a timetable or is it their no timetable does the body you're in become a real body or does it not become a real body. After a certain amount of time and how much time does it take. If it even happens at all because this movie shows it doesn't happen but it does happen. Because it happened to a doll that Andy dropped off. It became a living body but other dolls did not even tho they whore alive longer. This makes no sense for any movie franchise based off of a ritual. And the Child's Play movie franchise is based off of the ritual of the Soul transfer ritual. Because it was the sole focus of the first three movies. Then after that they went we don't care anymore we will just going an make stuff up we don't care no more. But they were sequels to original movie but they. Completely forgot and abandoned the main plot and point of the first movie. That plot and main point being you have a killer Charles Lee Ray. Who used a voodoo ritual to transfer his soul into a doll body but he only had like 3 days to transfer his soul into another body. Because if he failed to do so that body would become a real flesh-and-blood body. Now look at this movie it's a long line up sequels to the original. But now there is no timetable for a ritual and the body that the. Soul is in doesn't necessarily become a human body but it does in some cases. Because this movie shows some of them are not human bodies after who knows how long. But it also shows one being brought to life but it becomes a human body in 5 to 10 minutes. Meaning it feels pain and it bleeds but all the other dolls that were alive longer do not do that. So literally by the rules of a sequel that means it has to follow every single thing. That came before starting with the original movie. Is as horrible movie because none of it makes sense. I mean you literally have nothing that makes sense from the rules that the first movie set. For this entire movie franchise I mean 1 doll became a human body. After 5 minutes of being alive but you at dolls live longer but we're not real bodies. I mean all I can say is WTF movie writers makeup your minds are you going to completely abandon the rules from the first movie. Because if you are don't introduce them into another movie but not follow them completely. This might look like a rant against this movie. But it's not going back to what Drew said if it's a sequel it has to make sense to all the movies that came before it starting with original. This is just one movie franchise that Brakes the sequel movie rules. Halloween multiple timelines but they are all sequels to the original Friday the 13th. I'm just listing the ones you have seen or are watching. Child's Play constantly changes the ritual rules for the soul transfer. Friday the 13th the movie studio retconed Jason's death in part 2. Then you had a killer that should not technically exist because he was dead officially in 1952. Halloween constant retcons an multiple timelines. Halloween , Friday the 13th and Child's Play what do all these movies have in common. Their sequals make no sense because they ignore the facts that the original movie set. The sequels change alter or ignore the facts from the movies that came before it. The basic rule for a good Sequel and a sequel in general. Is the movie only adds to the original core story of the original it stays true to the facts of the original movie. It is a continuation of original movie so all the facts have to remain the same all the rules have to remain the same. For specific things like rituals like a soul transfer ritual that starts a movie franchise. Non of this can be ignored or altered in a sequel because if it. Is that movie will not make sense to be part of that movie franchise. Because sequels are meant to be watched one right after another. So if you watch the first movie everything makes seanse in the rest of the movies. Because if you had to stop and forget something from the previous movie because. It was changed and or altered or ignored. In the next movie it makes no sense and therefore is not a sequel. Because sequels a continuation of original movie.

great reaction….The last two Chucky/Child’s Play film had lots of problems getting the two films even made there was budget issues at one time the Director/Writer was going to do a crowdfund to make them plus MGM owned the rights to the Child’s Play (copyright) IP they wanted to re-boot it and froze out the guy who created Chucky (The re-boot was a massive bomb) Somehow Don Mancini got in a room with Universal and managed to cut a deal to do a tv series which would air on both SyFy & USA (The tv series is actually really good and got lots of praise (Curse & Cult of Chucky are to some extent a bridge to connect Season 1 of Chucky (The tv series actually adds value to the entire film series) is the tv series perfect no it’s a slow burn at first by episode 4-5 everything actually makes a lot of sense (I was never a huge Child’s Play fan but; after watching the first season i actually respect the film series a lot more

I apricate the smaller scale for the story tho its budget did suffer in places, i liked the carry over of continuity but its interesting to hear Dallas perspective that it didn't advance much. I'm Not sure if there's any plan for another sequel a Chucky 8 yet, But the story does continue in the TV Series, which is also slated for a Season 2.

There are plans for a 8th movie. It just depends on the tv series. As long as the tv series is doing well and being renewed the 8th movie won’t be made for a bit. Personally the tv series is better only because with 8 hours a season, we are getting more content then if we got a movir every 2-3 years
