This game brought me a very cherished memory one with my favourite Cultist. The day the silly little guy joins in, I get a side quest. "Great leader, this guy is a newbie, can you make him eat a bowl of shit?" Sure. Few days later. "Great leader, we don't like this guy, how about you make him eat a bowl of shit?" Sure. Couple of days later. "Great leader, you're such a funny guy with your pranks, can you make this guy eat a bowl of shit for the third time?" Alright. Next side quest? The guy I've been tormenting. "Great leader, you are a master chef, there is a dish I want to ask of you, can you cook me a bowl of shit?" ... Ok? Then, the day I unlock the marriage ritual, the poor guy comes up to me. "Great leader, you have graced me with delicious food, would you marry me?" How could I say no lol.

I really can't say this is game of the year material. It's trying to be too much without being great at anything. The rouge-like combat and bosses are pretty simplistic and underwhelming compared to the binding of Isaac. Your camp will fall to complete ruin if you aren't babying it constantly and your followers have practically no personality. Rituals make it really easy to just ignore all of your followers requests, and the upgrade paths are just a slow crawl to the top rather than allowing for specialization. I really can't see much replay value in this game, something really important for rouge-likes.

CotL is fun it’s cool, but I personally think Isaac is a more polished and smooth game with a lot more Versatility in its combat gameplay. But in lamb you can play animal crossing as well. But I love Isaac it’s so good!

I was happy with cult of the lamb until i cam across an unbeatable miniboss that can't be dodged, can't be heavy attacked, or cursed. No damage does anything and attempting to dodge garuntees a hit. Fuck that id rather play minesweeper.
